He's running out of time. He has four weeks to beat out Thielen or Diggs before Michael Floyd comes back.

Eventually he could overtake Thielen, but him and Diggs are different players with different games. He does need to get on the field, but his fight is for the WR3 (Floyd/Wright) spot with eventually a fight for the WR2 spot (Thielen).

I have to think, however, that an injury from fighting a teammate is...low on my list of positive indicators.

I believe that it was confirmed that it happened at a different time than the fight, which he did not start.

There is another thread on this forum that has a link to the video... clearly not him who started it.

Treadwell is not good at football. Don't waste picks on this clown. Cut your losses now. Would rather have Floyd in redraft this year. He is a flat out bust. He was struggling in camp before injury and light years behind Diggs andThielien. If you have 40 roster spots add him lol.

He started the smack talk. Then Exum tackled him for it after some shoves. Tackled him by diving into his knees from what I could tell, but there's a large crowd around them trying to break them up when it happens. Maybe exum wasn't trying to go for the knees as I believe I read the two of them are friends. Maybe he got tripped up by someone trying to stop his tackle attempt and ended up hitting treadwell lower than intended. It was a stupid move regardless, and it sure looked like it could have been the cause of a knee issue, but again it was tough to tell in the mass of people.
I do know that treadwell was running with the first team and practicing quite well up to that point, and was actually talking smack to exum because he beat him in the corner of the end zone. I believe the next day treadwell was out hurt and has been limited since. I have a tough time personally believing that injury didn't occur in that fight that happened RIGHT before treadwell was out hurt, with reports that he got hurt in a fight. Seems like somewhat of a cover up as it looks bad on everyone to have a teammate inflicted injury
