Not a mystery here. Perhaps (just thinking out loud here) one reason why EJ Manuel doesn't have a job and Peterman does is - well, because Manuel chooses to go public & say douche bag things like this to media outlets. The off the field baggage with Peterman is non existent. Dude is squeaky clean for all I know. Using him as a starter isn't likely what Buffalo wants for short or long term, but, at least he likely (i'm not sure here) isn't a giant moron. EJ Manuel's physical skill set simply isn't likely good enough to overcome his mental, emotional, and maturity level shortcomings or aka baggage. Glad I could put his mind to rest and answer his "mystery".Servo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 08, 2018 9:07 am EJ Manuel came out and stated he has no idea how Peterman has a job and he doesn't....may not have been the best move from a PR perspective...but true nonetheless.
At this point, he has no business being on an NFL roster. I'd rather throw Barkley out there after learning the playbook for 3 days than Peterman.
Oh, and in our DLF HOF league, yeah, I had to pick up Peterman as otherwise I'd have had to choose between Wentz on bye and Allen injured. So.... since Peterman was the only available qb projected to start, I made a small move in order to put my best roster possible out there. I had realistic expectations though... and lost, but, not by much.
