Not a fluke, he'll have 50+ yard TD's every game.

It was a fantastic catch by Doctson. But it was also one play.

Here's the catch if you missed it.

HAHAHA. Was a legit question. Do we think his usage/targets will go up as the season goes on? Lucky play? Too early for sarcasm on a Monday morning. :D :D

I think so. They want to get him more involved and Pryor is faceplanting.

His usage was frustrating last night...was only targeted twice I believe, and seemed like the majority of his snaps were on running plays, so basically they're just using him as a body to give pryor/crowder a blow (and pryor looked awful last night btw). Just wish they would target him a little more to see what he can do. He's had what, three career catches, two of which were 50+ yards? I am still firmly holding on to him, as I think he'll have a nice future, but can't say there's not at least a small part of me that's worried

Hopefully his targets creep up every week and by the end of the year he is locked in as 1B to Crowder's 1A.

I'd be happy with this. But then value would be predicated on whether Cousins stays in WAS

That is pretty much exactly how I feel.

The Doctson catch was about as flukey as it gets. Watch the replay, especially the slow mo close up angle. Ball went right through Doctson's hands, bounced off the DBs hands and right back up into Doctson's hands.

Not sure I'd put a ton of stock into that play.

Would have to disagree. Just re watched. Looks like it pins to his right arm and he tracks it really well. All bias aside seemed like a wr making a play to me. Didn't see it go through his hands.

I'm just happy he was out there and made a play. Let's hope he continues to gain some momentum.

I'm hoping that this will be confidence boost that Doctson needed to jump start his career. He's clearly been making plays during practices similar to the one last night, but doing it in game time vs another team is a different story. With Pryor and even Crowder struggling, the WR1 spot is up for grabs on this team and Doctson has all the tools to make it happen.

More importantly than that catch his snap rate increased for the 3rd straight game. Up to 53% last night. If you are a fan, and want to buy, do it before his true breakout game comes, which will be soon if he's going to be on the field more and more.
