Given the other RBs on that team, he has to be considered for opportunity this season. Forte is all but done as he's no longer effective. And the Jets have no interest in having Powell as their starter. That is, unless the 7th season on the team is his breakout year...lol. every effort has been made to ensure he is not their starter.

Totally disagree. The Jets for the past several years like him a lot. As they should, he is a heck of a ball player. He is more in the complementary role like Tevin Coleman. They may not think he can hold up to 25 touches a game, but who does these days? It's a different NFL.

Bilal Powell is incredibly underrated by many in the fantasy community, and also by the NYJ organization. If history is any indicator, NE will sign Powell to a cheap 2-year deal in 2018...

It wasn't totally fair. He had two runs for a combined 20 plus yards called back because of bad penalties. Still not great but not quite as bad as the stat line shows.

I am cautiously excited. The Jets seem to really like him, a bunch of dynasty pods were talking him up recently and he has a nice athletic profile.

I like him a lot and fear we are waiting for the second surgery. I hate these foot injuries. Been burned more than once.
