Taco just had a sack which should help his confidence and the Rams are now up to 4 fumbles and have recovered them all, lol. The Cowboys offense hasn't done anything with it but no Dak, Zeke, Dez, Beasley, Witten, so it's kinda hard to tell very much, but it's preseason.

I've gotten to watch Kupp's reception now. Kupp's slot-corner blitzed, and so Kupp ran a simple out-route to 1st down depth, and was wide open because the safety was really high up the field for some reason. Goff rolled out like you said and barely got the throw off in time with a guy in his face. Kupp was the only receiver that realized the blitz and I'm guessing adjusted his route for it.

This is a typical sloppy preseason game and now the Rams are up to 5 fumbles and have recovered them all, that's nuts. Kupp has probably been the lone bright spot for the Rams offense though.

Bright spots for each team after 1st half
Cowboys: Defense was flying around hammering people, forcing 6 fumbles, although two of those were basically the Rams fault. Taco got a big sack. Noah Brown with two catches, almost impossible for him to make the 53 but could be a nice practice squad candidate.

Rams: Kupp had a couple of nice grabs and a alert play to jump on the fumble in the end zone for the Rams only TD. Justin Davis had a couple of nice runs but fumbled twice and lost the 2nd one. Gerald Everett had a couple if nice catches, can't wait to see more of him.

Rico, another TD, two in two preseason games. He probably won't see the field much this season but he will definitely make the 53, mainly because Witt doesn't come off the field much because he's so valuable in the running game but there's a lot of upside with Gathers and there's no way the Cowboys would risk putting him on the practice squad. It's way early but it's hard for me to not be excited about a future replacement for Witten.

Surprised the Lions offense looks this decent. With the exception of that early pick (not sure if it was Stafford or the receiver's mistake or just rare great D by the Colts), they're moving the ball well in the air and even on the ground - so far anyway.

Supposedly nothing serious, ongoing issue, was taken out as a precaution, haven't read/heard anything specific though

Yes. IDP is fun, you should try it sometime.

IDP adds a whole new dynamic to the game... after all, there are like, 22 people on the field at the same time.

Now if we can just figure out how to add referees. I'd take Ed Hochuli with the 1.01. Nobody messin' with those biceps...

I believe you're referring to 3rd year WR, out of Washington, Kasen Williams. Good that he's putting something on tape being buried on depth chart as of now.
