Definitely put me down for a Cook bust. I think his running will be terrible, and if he does stay fantasy-relevant, it will be due to his catches/rec yards inflating his fantasy numbers.
The standard is the standard.

Quite a few CMC busts. Do we really think he's that bad? Quite a few Mixon busts as well. I think CMC will have a decent year, but I'm not sure it will quite equate to stud status.

Stud- From the 1st round, only Fournette plays up to his ADP production wise and that's off volume. He has a very Melvin Gordonesque 1st year and there is alot of arguing over his potential.

Cook hold value due to their situation and occasional flashes but don't give return value on their ADP.

Mixon doesn't give much production for his draft spot and can be bought cheaper than he currently goes for half way through the season. He then spikes next year after Hill leaves.

Kupp keeps us interested in him and leads all Rams WR's in production. Those numbers though are still unstartable. Ha.

Perine "Should have the job" but never does because Kelley is too reliable. Every FFL player and even the Washington coaches wish he was the lead back but he continues to make mistakes and ends up on the weak side of timeshare all season.

Hunt is the lead back in KC by end of the year and is the best value in the late 1st/early 2nd round.

Bust-
Every TE because that's the case every year.

Every WR in the 1st round.

CMC gets hurt because he runs slightly to upright.

The entire class leaves us anticipating the 2018 class(which will inevitably let us down)

Surprise Stud: Christian McCaffrey - guy is a special talent and already juking Luke Keuchly out of his cleats in training camp. He's one of those RBs that can touch the ball 10 times a game and be a difference maker. Just wait until Jonathan Stewart tweaks a hamstring in Week 3, and McCaffrey gets 15-20 touches per game...

Surprise Bust: Samaje Perine - I actually think he's a pretty good RB, just not great. Short term, he's going to split carries with Rob Kelley and lose receptions to Chris Thompson. Long term, I think Kirk Cousins leaves after this season, and WAS returns to being a dumpster fire.

The number of people listing rookie tight ends as "busts" in year one is funny. Re-adjust your expectations.

My only call here is gonna be Alvin Kamara as a bust. Considering he and Dalvin seem to go back to back in a lot of rookie drafts and he's being drafted as the "situation" guy....think a lot of people are going to be disappointed with that investment both short & long term.

I'm with you on the CMC train. I think he's going to have 2k all purpose yards if he gets return duties. If he can somehow put together 6-10 scores as well (8 shouldn't be extraordinary, just depends on Cam bouncing back to form I think), then he has OROY written all over him. He's a marketing dream for the league...squeaky clean, pretty boy, and if he can add electric to the mix he'll start landing a lot of endorsements (if he hasn't already).

As for busts, I could sadly see your point on the Perine post. I have him everywhere and still feel like he's a better runner than fatRob, but if he's not getting consistent touches, he's just another wait and see type of player. Need to see something out of him in preseason. Run someone(s) over and get a score.

That would definitely qualify as a surprise
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

cooper kupp is gonna be a stud. he came to camp running routes like a vet and helping other receivers line up properly from every receiver position. and has glue on his hands. i hope you guys picked him up if you had the chance.

I agree on the tight ends. I don't mean bust in the normal sense of the word. There is just some unreasonable expectations going on for this class of TE. Some of the projected stat lines are just silly. Guys like Njoku are just going to be completely outplayed by Seth Devalve this year and that's fine. Njoku can still be a monster in the future but he won't be the number target on the team, not even the number one TE. And everyone seems to be ignoring this.

The amount of Dalvin Cook bust predictions is kind of astonishing considering the RAVE reviews coming from everyone from coaches, to players, to media about how explosive and smooth Cook has looked. With a revamped OLine and path cleared for the starting load, Cook's bust potential has substantially fallen in the past week
