This is what Parker owners have been expecting for a while I'd imagine. The questions will be whether or not he can do it consistently. He's flashed a few times now.Shcritters wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 9:09 am Not saying he’s going to be a stud, but his 6-134 night last night wasn’t too shabby. Yes 50 of it came on a fluke play, but 5-80 is still better than what he’s been doing to this point. And it wasn’t all in garbage time either... he had 50 yards at halftime.

Re: DeVante Parker
He looked like a WR1 last night. Arrow is pointing up for sure, he could have a huge jump in adp by season end.

haha, I doubt you'll ever be able to say that.Shcritters wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 9:09 am Not saying he’s going to be a stud, but his 6-134 night last night wasn’t too shabby. They had no one else to throw it to. It was either him, the rookie TE running drag routes or the 5'6" Grant (and Osweiller couldn't get the ball low enough for Grant at times). Hopefully he strings together a few more "wasn't too shabby" performances for his owners.

Don’t forget Osweiler missed him on a long TD when he was 5 yards behind th DB.
Not saying he’s going to be a stud, but he looked dominant & it’s a head-scratcher why they weren’t utilizing him earlier.

That will be the debate for the time being. Was Parker benched because he's inconsistent and hurts his team, or is Gase incompetent?Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 9:25 am Don’t forget Osweiler missed him on a long TD when he was 5 yards behind th DB.

Re: DeVante Parker
Everyone is so worried about looking like a fool. I'll say it. If Parker stays healthy and plays the rest of the games this season he will be a top 36 startup pick next year. I called it on Tyreek, calling him the next AB well before that was acceptable around here. What I saw last night was elite talent in size, speed, and adjustment to poorly thrown balls. I think he follows the Davante Adams trajectory if he stays healthy.

On a more serious note, as a Parker owner, I was happy to see that he had a good game upon his return from absence. However, I had him riding my bench.

I sure hope you are right. I took him in the 6th of a startup this year and have been hating myself for it ever since.thebeast wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 11:04 am Everyone is so worried about looking like a fool. I'll say it. I also got Tyreek at the end of the 3rd... so happy about that. If you are right I’m going to subscribe to your posts!
