Expanding from 12 to 14 teams in a league

To anyone out there:

I'm looking for any guidance on how a league should consider moving from 12 teams to 14 teams. I did some searches above in hopes to land a topic from before, but came up empty. If anyone has gone through this and has some experiences to share; like "this" worked well, "this" did not examples I would love to hear them. Also, if anyone knows of any guidance sites that they know of, that would help as well.

Our league is keep 23, non-ppr, start qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, def, k

Some of us were thinking of blocking 3 people to start off, let the two teams draft to 18 players selecting from our teams, when a players gets selected off your team, you get to block another (maybe 2 more works better). a Max of 3 players may be taken from your team. Then give the 2 new coaches the first 2 picks overall and seat them at that spot for the 8 round draft that we have each year. This would give them 26 and only have to cut 3 in the end.
