What to do at 1.04? Based on roster, advice needed.

I roundly disagree with the Mixon crowd in your situation. You have a small but solid pile of running backs who will likely yield good production this season, and if you're lucky enough to have a WR1 fall in your lap at 1.04 you should take him. I'd like Mixon more if the Bengals o-line—and, let's face it, entire organization—wasn't a dumpster fire. Short story: They can't have nice things. And I think it's weird that everyone forgets Mixon was so awesome at the college level he had to split carries. Davis. All the way. —Best, Steve

Davis. You get the 1.01 at the 1.04. Always draft BPA. N

Yea, not feeling those comparisons. Cooper was much more highly regarded coming out of college and it wouldn't be close. Miller was a 2nd round pick in most rookie drafts.maxhyde wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2017 4:53 pm...and I am not nearly as excited about Davis as I was Cooper. Mixon for me even with the risk...I prefer CMC but most seem to prefer Mixoncazzie33 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2017 10:51 amExcept that Mixon is far more talented than LamarDynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2017 6:23 am Would you rather draft Amari Cooper as a rookie or Lamar Miller. That's how I would compare the two.

I say go with Davis. Your WRs aren't as great as you think, especially from a depth perspective. You're RBs are good enough to ride with for a bit. If you're really concerned then trade back. If you can get the 1.5 plus a later pick for someone who really wants either Davis or Mixon and is willing to pay for it then it's a win/win.

I had this same dilemma and went Mixon, though my league is non-PPR so RB are gold.

I'd go with Davis. There is an influx of RB depth in this draft and I'm sure you'll be able to trade for one if needed during the season.

In my opinion questions on both. Mixon no doubt has the talent but Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard when healthy are going to cut into his production this year. Davis probably has the most upside but is at best 3rd option right now in an under producing offense. Based solely on your roster though I think Mixon makes more sense at this time.
