He was just acquired in a keeper league I am in as a later round draft pick. Half of my MFL leagues now have a team who is rostering Calvin Johnson and it looks like he has the 2nd highest add % after Matt Breida.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

I don't see how Megatron is a lottery ticket. He turns 32 in September and keeps telling the media that his ankle is not in great shape. It's improbable that he returns WR1/2 production. At that point, you're holding out for a WR3 which isn't exciting.

Even if that were his ceiling (I'd argue it's higher), him providing WR3 production and/or value would be like picking up one of Michael Crabtree, Devante Parker, Golden Tate, Willie Snead, Emmanuel Sanders, Terrelle Pryor, Jordan Matthews, Kelvin Benjamin, Julian Edelman, Randall Cobb, Jamison Crowder etc for free off the WW (current WRs 25-36 on DLF).

I'll roster anybody who has the potential to increase my roster value. Whether I want to use that asset to trade or as a low-end starter/reserve player. Owners will have an opportunity for both if he decided to play again.

Slight chance, but not likely. I think he could be very effective though if he wanted to. I think his decision to retire was not so much about his injuries, but more about him having enough money already and just being done with football.
