He is going mid second ADP and was a third round pick just like Foreman so not out of question. I listen to many dynasty podcasts and Conner has moved up rankings. Just as a handcuff alone Conner is worth early second in rookie drafts because we all know Bell will miss a game or two at least. I don't hate Foreman but think talent wise he is a step below Conner. Watch how Conner was getting stronger as season went along.
Went and watched a bit of Conner's film and came away pretty impressed. I had not found the time to take a look yet. Call me a fan at this point. He has very good balance and attacks contact very well.

That said, I then went and watched D'onta, and there just is a huge gap in physical ability. D'onta is so much faster than the guys chasing him. Not to mention his size. Given equal opportunity it seems D'onta will have a better shot at being fantasy relevant.

I like both Foreman and Connor. Both are big backs. Both have great stories (Connor-Cancer, Foreman-Infant's death now police harassment), both have excellent landing spots, Foreman's is better because Miller isn't great and is completely cuttable next season where as Bell is the GOAT. Both have good resumes, Connor pre-cancer, Foreman 2,000+ yards which is elite.

Connor was a huge value earlier on, he's risen I've noticed. Foreman will now probably become a value until pre-season when he busts one for 50 yards.

Texans rookie RB D'Onta Foreman tested negative for marijuana.

Source: Houston Chronicle

So there's still the issue with the gun, but at least his test came back clean. This will keep him out of the Substances of Abuse Program and diminishes the chances of suspension for now. He could still get a game or two off for "Personal Conduct" but at least he's not looking at random drug testing.

Think this will play out like Bell's suspension? Offense was in his rookie year, but the punishment was held his sophomore season.

Gun wasn't the issue, the issue was having the gun with weed in the car. Foreman tested negative for weed and the gun is legally registered to him. But still illegal to have the 2 together in a vehicle, so he was arrested for it.

The court will have to prove he willfully allowed the marijuana in his car. He can claim ignorance if the passenger in his vehicle gives testimony that he didn't tell Foreman about it.

I'm not a lawyer, nor do I know Texas law. Fwiw.

That makes more sense....hopefully the guy is a good sport and is willing to take the rap for him. He's a bruiser and when L.Miller goes down (not if but when) he could have some serious potential.

Just wait till he goes from weed and guns to getting snaps and even catching a few passes. Heads will explode!

90% sure the legal charges won't stick. After that, it's just a matter of league discipline, and it seems unlikely in this scenario. And even if I'm wrong, it wouldn't happen until 2018 at the earliest.

You can't count on Foreman this year. Relying on him to do anything will only disappoint. Take backs like Jamaal Williams and Conner over him. The hate for Lamar Miller is just silly. Texans offense is mediocre at best with an average OL. Both Steelers and Packers have better lines. I would rather take risk that Bell is either hurt or does not resign next year and go with Conner. No way this guy should go over several backs with this legal stuff hanging over him. Foreman is great at running through huge holes.
