Ongoing Superflex Startup

Postby Sou1Ca1iber » Thu Jul 13, 2017 4:52 pm

Hey guys, don't need any advice here - just sharing an ongoing Superflex draft. I know a lot of people (including myself) are looking for these during the off-season.

The scoring is pretty balanced but with 14 teams QBs went early and often. Keep that in mind if comparing to a 12 team league. Hope some people get some use from this though.

Not sure if yiuvare referring to a certain pick or player but I know I can speak from experience in superflex and 2QB leagues the values are skewed completely different and sometimes people don't catch on. For us if you wanted a decent QB like Tyrod Taylor it would take a young elite stud like Amari Cooper or David Johnson + a lot more. Like another good young player or future 1st. That never happened in my traditional leagues. Also scoring dictated that. The teams that had Brees and Rodgers at QB were always tough to beat and they could rotate position players in.

If it were me I'd want a back at the turn. I would have taken Dak & Mariotta there, and took a third QB before I filled out my starters. I'd finish the startup with at least 4 young starting quality QBs knowing that somebody will need a QB and nobody ever gives them away in this setting. Every league is different but ours was set up where a top QB outscored an elite position player by 200 or so points. I don't know the scoring settings here but I just know at first glance we would have people not understand that in our league and screw up a trade or laugh at a rookie pick.

I mean last year the talent was falling off mid-2nd and this year you can get Arob mid-3rd. I would make a killing in a startup this year.
