Biggest regrets
Re: Biggest regrets
Making a playoff push last year (Week 8 trade deadline). Gave Phil Dorsett and an early 1st for Eddie Lacy before he got hurt. Bounced from the playoffs 1st rd.
Just a guy who loves fantasy football - specifically defense.

Top this-Drafted Ebron over OBJ.

Re: Biggest regrets
Last year I had 1.07 and 1.08 in my 10 team rookie+FA league draft. This at the time was a league where we kept 12 players at the end of the season, with more vets being in the FA pool than your average rookie draft.
I was really high on Sterling Shepard and took him at 1.07. At 1.08 I was torn between Drew Brees' newest weapon in Michael Thomas, or contract year Michael Floyd who had finished 2015 hot and was expected to finally string another 1k season at 26 years old as he would hit his prime.
Spoiler Alert: I did not draft Michael Thomas, opting for Floyd, instead. It proved to be a disastrous decision and it led to me picking 1.03 this season.

Taking Kevin White instead of Bekham JR.
Re: Biggest regrets
It wasn't Dynasty, but I traded Emmanuel Sanders for Cordarelle Patterson the season Sanders had a career season (2014?). It was after the first game of the season and I thought Patterson was going to be a dynamic playmaker.
This was also in the biggest entry fee League I've ever done and this trade bottoming out for me derailed any confidence I had that season as far as trades and WW pick ups. I ended up tanking, and have been overvaluing my players ever since.

Re: Biggest regrets
Disclaimer: not trying to be douchey and divert the thread, I also drafted Agholor with a late 2015 1st.
Okay, I like the idea of this thread in general but this is a really lazy post without providing any context. Today, 1,000 out of 1,000 would obviously say, "No sh*t" here but
What made you believe, at the time, that DJ was going to be a superstar?
What pick did you have where you chose Agholor instead? DJ from what I remember was going in the Mid-Late 2nds at the earliest in most mocks and even my actual drafts.
If you reply and say that someone you follow (writer/website/etc) was huge on DJ or you did your own scouting and you were big on DJ, then okay. But to say something this vanilla and laced with hindsight is weak without including those details. Considering many probably chose Agholor over DJ without hesitation in 2015.
Looking back on rankings, even DLF, Agholor was consistently ranked as a top 50 prospect overall and his draft position and the Philly landing spot really solidified that status, he literally compares to and was supposed to take over for Jeremy Maclin (https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/nelson-agholor/). Now what's happened to him is a shame, something that you can't predict or evaluate, someone breaking mentally.

Re: Biggest regrets
You remember that one time last year I selected Leonte Caroo over Jordan Howard with the 2.03 rookie draft pick? Pepperidge Farms remembers...

I was between DJ and Agholor, but went with Agholor because WRs are usually better and safer assets in dynastyGhostOfMasoli wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 4:58 pmDisclaimer: not trying to be douchey and divert the thread, I also drafted Agholor with a late 2015 1st.
