What is value on the 1.5 pick
What is value on the 1.5 pick
I got the 1.5 and wondering what's the value on it. Another owner has 1.10 and 2.4. What else would have to be added on to that to trade the 1.5?

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
It's a tough spot because of the player grouping in the draft. The selling value of the pick is outstanding especially to running back needy teams due to most rookie drafts I have viewed the 1.5 is the cutoff for one of the big four rookie running backs Forunette, McCaffery, Cook or Mixon. The problem lies in the drop off of talent after the 1.5. Mike Williams with his herniated disk seems to be dropping a bit.
So the question is how far do you move back in the draft if you elect to do so and what needs to be added? If the owner needs a back then I would need his first and second and a quality #2 WR or his 2018 first if I believed it could be a top 5 pick next season. I would lean towards a quality #2 WR because if you needed a back you would be selecting one with your 1.5.

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
I think it's gone up in value in a lot of people's eyes due to the Mike Williams situation. Plus there are probably a lot more teams in your league in need of an impact RB than just about any other position. The only way I'd consider moving out of the 1.05 is if I was stacked at RB, I got a more established RB, or I got an offer that was too good to refuse.

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
I think it's a clear top 4 and then cook or Howard at 5 Williams is 7. Clear top 7 for me. Falling out of that top 7 is brutal. I don't even know who my 1.08 is right now as it's a total crapshoot.
The good think about 5 is the draft has to go perfect for one of fournette Mixon Davis mccaffrey to not fall to you. My main league in sig1 just had the draft.
Top 4 did go as expected. 1.05 went Howard. Cook and Williams went 6/7.
So the top 7 is locked imo

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
I traded my 1.05 and 2.07 draft pick to move up to 1.04 so I can get one of the big 4 in this rookie draft. Maybe you could look to move up in the draft like I did instead of moving down and collecting picks?

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
I thought for sure I would get a running back at 1.5. Nope. Corey Davis seems to be falling in some Rookie drafts since the Decker signing. 1.1 LF, 1.2 Joe Mixon, 1.3 CMC, 1.4 Dalvin Cook and I selected Corey Davis. 12 team PPR. start 1 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR, 1-3 TE. You might need to move to 1.4 to get one of the backs though Corey Davis is not a bad consolation prize.
Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
I think your league-mates will all think they are smart next year. You will look like the winner the next 10 years after that.osubuckeyeman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2017 4:59 pm I thought for sure I would get a running back at 1.5. Nope. I am a running back needy team but got an offer for NUK for my 1.05 and 2,05.
I could not say no. I would have gotten one of the big four RBs.

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
Very big drop off, and no idea how the draft will go. You might get more value waiting to see who goes in the first few picks. Ours went 1.LF 2.CMC 3.CD 4.DC so Mixon surprisingly still on the board at 5.
Sure, no two drafts for the same, but the guy at 5 was then getting a ton of offers - I offered 1.07, 2.01 and 2018 1st when it happened for the 1.05 as getting Mixon and Davis would have been amazing for my team. But chap wanted Mixon even more.
Ask for more, and don't be in a rush to sell too cheaply

Re: What is value on the 1.5 pick
It would take a substantial player I like on top of that to move out of top 5. Everything after 1.5 might as well be second rounders. Wait till the draft is in session and broadcast the pick is for sale, bet u get a way better offer
