Looks like he's visiting Tennessee today.

He and Matthews would really cancel each other out.

Mariota would be the only fantasy winner here, Decker/Matthews/Davis/Delanie not so much.

I agree. A win for Mariota and a battle for limited targets. For fantasy sake hopefully it doesn't happen, but in reality it would certainly improve the Titans offensive skill positions. That would be a solid grouping of pass catchers.

This will really help Mariota and hurt Matthews and even Davis. I would maybe knock him behind Dalvin Cook in rookie rankings if this happens. I think I would take the big four rookie backs over him and I am a Davis fan.

Not a good spot for Decker though for consistency . Matthews value will really go down a lot.

There is no way I wouldn't take Davis at the top of the draft becasue of a 30 year old Decker, although I agree it would likely affect his target projected share this year.

The top five was already close in value so this bumps him to 5 IMO. You do have to play this year and next in dynasty as well. Cook and mccafrey both will be stud backs from day one.

Fair enough. Just my opinion as well. I have him at the 1.01-1.02 and Cook and McCaffery at the 5 and 6 so for me it's not as close. Weather or not any of them will be studs at all let alone from day 1 remains to be seen.

Any thoughts on how this would impact Taywan Taylor?

Taylor is a projected slot receiver, so he won't see the field much. If Decker gets signed, that means the Titans think one of their Top 3 WR's can play the slot, and that's not even mentioning Delanie Walker who was the best TE in the league last season in terms of slot production.

Would not effect Davis's draft value in my mind. Decker in the slot Davis and Matthews on the outside with Walker down the seams. I can see this taking heat off of Davis if anything. I would love to see Davis fall down the board, however, don't see him dropping sadly. :(

ericanadian wrote: Tue Jun 13, 2017 1:40 pm Decker had Peyton Manning tossing him the ball in one of the best statistical seasons of Peyton's career before he came to New York. The difference is roughly 2.0-2.5 YPT, which while significant, isn't going to move Decker up a tier. We're also talking one of the best seasons of one of the best statistical QBs in the league. He's unlikely to match that regardless of where he ends up. You're probably looking at 1.0-2.0 YPT improvement if he goes to a solid situation. While that's not nothing, it's only about 100-200 yards over a season and this also assumes he's going to a system where he can maintain the target share we're all used to seeing from him.
What does that have to do with anything? Nobody is talking about Decker's stats with Peyton.
The point is that just because Decker was very good with a bad QB, that doesn't mean he'll go bonkers with a good one.
Um, except for the fact that he did. Results will vary upon format, but I'm seeing that he finished WR7 and WR8 in 2012 and 2013 with Peyton. Maybe bonkers means top 5, but I'll settle for #7 and #8 in consecutive seasons.

I'm really surprised more teams haven't been linked to him by now. Just the Titans?

Maybe that injury was worse than we thought?

He was playing at a really high - if not elite - level for years before it.
