Am I crazy?

I have Freeman on my team and for some reason I am not sold on him long term. I just feel that his production will not keep up. If I were trying to trade him what would be a proper value for him? Would a player like Amari and 1st be fair? Two first and a top tier player? If you were trading him what would you ask for? I'm sure I'm in the minority in feeling this way but I can't help but feel this way.

Amari and a 1st is way more than you can expect. Maybe Freeman + 1st for Cooper, but even that might not get it done.

12 team, PPR, 25 roster spots with 2 taxi. 2RB/ 2WR/ 3 Flex/ 1 QB/1Def /1 Kicker. Maybe I'm thinking to much into the situation but the addition of Brian Hill makes me wonder if they want/have the money to extend Freeman long term.

The Falcons have Freeman and Coleman and you're concerned about a 5th round running back? You're definitely over-thinking the situation. That said, I would be looking to move him but it sounds like your expected return is a lot higher than his current value. I doubt you'll find many startups with Freeman getting drafted ahead of Cooper.

Freeman was a 4th rounder and Coleman is always lurking. Hill was productive back with college stats similar to Freeman.Last time I looked the Falcons don't have a ton of cap room. I'm just thinking long term and not just this year. Maybe I am asking to much for him.

You're definitely asking for too much. Try a wr that is in a tier or two below Cooper, like Watkins, Keenan, Landry or Diggs.

no ones arguing that you should be comfortable with his long term value, most people already are. but amari and a first is WAYYYYYYY too much. amari alone is way too much. two firsts alone if theyre early-mid is already his value

I would love if I could trade Freeman for Cooper, straight-up. Agree with post above to find players in tier below Cooper, otherwise, you will have to add to the Freeman side to get the Cooper owner to consider a trade.

As far, as Hill being a threat to Freeman in the future, I wouldn't worry. Freeman is looking for a new contract and Coleman is the bigger threat to eat into Freeman touches. I have tried selling Freeman the past two seasons and have got nothing close to value for him. Cheaper to keep him, as he was a late start-up pick for me.

If you do end up trading him, I would be curious, what you received for him.

I sent out a few offers that included Freeman. The guy I targeted has Kenneth Dixon as his top running back. If I get a taker I will let you know. Thanks everyone for their advice.

Shanahan is gone. Matt Ryan coming off a record setting year. The whole offense is due for major regression. I'd definitely be selling.

every league is different, if your league warrants freeman for amari and a 1st.....youve came to the right place to dominate your league. these guys are strictly talking general player value. player value differs though considerably from league to league and owner to owner. these forums can give you a great reference point, but i would not take it as gospel. these same people had trent richardson and josh gordon going 1.1 overall at one time.

freeman may have been a staple in your lineup. you have every right to ask whatever you want for him. cooper straight up would be a steal in most owners eyes. those same owners can also admit that freeman may be the better play for a few years. go figure?

i dont know what your freeman for dixon package looks like.....but you may want to check here to ensure that your not overvaluing dixon.

Amari Cooper would be taken more than half a round before Freeman in startups, so for you to ask for Cooper AND a 1st is a bit crazy, yes.

Unless the team has Cooper as their 4th WR and was desperate for RBs.

Freeman is untradeable at the moment if you want value . Everyone is worried about shanny leaving along with the threat of Coleman

I was offered Gronk,2nd,3rd for Freeman and Brate. I have a love hate relationship with Gronk, but that's a good starting point don't you think?
