His 2017 rookie ADP was around a mid 2nd. I've tried sending '18 2nds and '18 2nds + other mid-2nd rookie ADP guys (think Curtis Samuel) as offers for Foreman and have been turned down.

In the right market (league size, scoring, etc), you might be able to acquire him off of a contender for what's projected to be a low 2nd (2.01 - 2.04) but I think that's probably wishful thinking. I think you're going to need a high 1st (1.10-1.12) to acquire him and if he continues to receive 40% or more of the carries his price will only go up from here. I'm just speculating though.

I view myself as a contender. I would LOVE to sell Foreman for a projected late first.

I'm a contender and I'd rather hold. I think a) his market value goes up from here, and more importantly b) so does his production.

I've become more interested in "playing the market" since I've become a DLFer, having had my eyes open to the wide world of stock trading in dynasty fantasy football...but fantasy points to the end result of winning championships still reigns supreme.

Foreman was being selected at a late 1st to a mid 2nd in this year's draft. So a 2018 1st would be the minimum and his stock is on the rise.

Like most on here, I tried hard to acquire Foreman in most of my leagues to no avail...until today.

In a 12 team standard league (non-ppr), I sent Jeremy Maclin and Jerick McKinnon for Foreman.

An overpay, but Maclin was my 5th WR and I think Foreman is worth the gamble. He has looked good on his limited touches and I think his value will only increase.

Most on this forum would agree that it's not an overpay but most people are insane on how they value Maclin. He's worth a mid-late First all day based on talent, age, production, etc

Maclin is 29, has two 1k yard seasons in seven years in the league, his most recent season was his worst ever, and his Week 1 statline isn't sending any hype through the roof considering it was all of two catches.

People are valuing him correctly. He isn't worth an '18 1st right now.

Maclin is severely undervalued by many. I recently offered him straight up for M.Lynch and was declined. Lynch was his clear cut #4 or 5 rb. He could have used a boost at his #3 wr. Maclin was behind my Julio,AJG,B.Cooks,Jordy starting line up. He just needs a couple good to decent games to remind the fantasy community that he can put up wr 2-3 type #'s

Yeah I know Maclin is a good player but I would give him for Foreman in a heartbeat.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't totally off on my valuation of Maclin. I do think he is an underrated option though.

If Foreman continues to get about half of the touches this year, I think it could turn into a situation similar to the Tennessee backfield. Not as ideal, but still not a bad spot to be in.

last night, albeit in a very small sample size, he looked VERY good. I'm extremely intrigued to see how he progresses.
D'Onta Foreman carries from week 2

He's not as overtly elusive as guys like Mixon but he manages to evade defenders just the same. I enjoy watching him run.
