Missed the 1st day of OTA's with an "undisclosed injury."

Could just be me, but looks like they adjusted the jugs machine to get the guys familiar with Watson's velocity.

If we're black and had dreads I could make a video just like that in my back yard, although I bet my wife could throw harder than that.

Re: D'Onta Foreman, buy him now?
Anyone who plays in league with me isn't getting him late second or 3rd (which is laughable). There are a lot of misconceptions out there about him from people who haven't watched him play. I've seen the kid play since he was a freshman and he was always dripping with talent. His freshman year he showed big flashes as being the best back Texas had even behind two 5 star RBs. By his sophomore year it was obvious he was one of the teams best player. Not best RB, but best player. I know Texas has been down recently but anyone who saw him play can tell you this as a fact. Jonathan Gray, former 5 star started out of respect for him being a senior and how much he had been through but it was always the wrong decision. Gray had 123 attempts that year for 493 yards, good for 4.0ypc behind one of the worst O lines in the country. Behind that same O line Foreman had 94 attempts for 672 yards, good for 7.1ypc.
So his emergence wasn't out of the blue, he managed four 100 yard games in a season where his carries were limited. In his only 4 games that year over 10 carries he had 112, 117, 157, and 147 rushing yards. 3 of those games were vs OU, TCU, and West Virginia, three top 15 teams.
Fast forward to 2016 and he had arguably the best season for any Texas RB ever. Let that marinate. A school with numerous 5 star RBs, Ricky Williams, Jamaal Charles, Ced Benson, Foreman topped them all. Now you can blame that all on the Big 12 if you want, but if it was that easy we would have saw it happen more. 2028 rushing yards in 11 games. Keep in mind he sat out a game vs UTEP in week 2 for rest which would have amassed an easy 200 yards, and there was no bowl game which could have added another 100 yards. Those didn't come because he had wide open holes, or an Alabama type O line, he just has incredible burst and vision. The offense was cookie cutter simple (it's the Art Briles offense which isn't known for versatility or throwing to the RB) so if you watched his pro day you would know he has great hands.
And athletically people have always doubted him but he earned his scholarship to Texas by running a 4.4 40 at a summer camp. People doubted the accuracy of that until he did it at his pro day. I mean you've got a work horse type back, who showed he can carry the load or a school (he carried the ball 51 times in a game and followed it up on a short week to tote it 31 times on the Thursday after, all with a broken hand and mourning the loss of his son), he can play with injury and nicks and bruises, he has athletic upside to be elite, and he is a 3 down back. Compare that to the profile to some of the backs taken around where he goes.
I'll take my "reach" on him in the late 1st and feel great about it.

Re: D'Onta Foreman, buy him now?
I have no problem with him going late 1.
Regarding the gif...
- Speaking as a former baseball player, I don't think it's implausible those balls are traveling 50~ mph. That angle also makes it look slower, I think.
- Foreman's hands don't matter as much as his pass-protection and route ability. Although he certainly has the hips to run good stab / cut routes.

I got him at pick #18 in a 0.5PPR league. I got a steal on elite upside in that format.

Re: D'Onta Foreman, buy him now?
So if I have the 2.01 and the 3.11 ... Should I just pass on him altogether? (First team in signature). Sounds like 2.01 is considered too high to take him by some but at the same time may be too late. If he's there I think I'd take him over the other talent that has ADP around the first-second round turn.

Re: D'Onta Foreman, buy him now?
After Foreman ran his Pro-Day 40, wasn't he was being talked about as a Top 12 Rookie Pick (size and speed not seen in the last decade)....at least from what I was seeing he was.
But now, people have become infatuated with Perine, Hunt and Kamara (Perine being the only one I'd take of the 3 FWIW) but Lamar Miller was a 4th Round Pick and has his own issues staying healthy and being a legit bellcow for Houston. While I'm bummed the hype has built up so much now for Foreman, I don't think taking him with an early 2nd is a waste at all....maybe now with Kamara, Hunt, Perine, that affords you the chance to trade back a few picks, still get him and add-on another 17 or 18 pick.
