Just for clarity sake - I am the owner took Kelly at 3.12 in that draft - that was my last pick of the draft (as I sold my later picks) so I couldnt take him any lower, and I own Paxton Lynch.

I don't think this is a big reach even. Kelly could be lined up in 2018 if Lynch isn't above average in 2017

I have done 6 or 7 or more superflex drafts and Mahomes seems to be the favorite toward the back end of the 1st then Watson and Trubisky closely followed by Kizer.
I have landed Trubisky at 2.03 in a couple of the drafts and Kizer at 2.11/3.03 and struck out on Mahomes everywhere even though he is the one I like best. I have yet to see a superflex where all 3 of the top options are gone in the 1st
DLF HOF League 16 team PPR

RB: David Johnson, Penny, Sanders(1.07), Montgomery(1.06), Love(2.07) Bernard, MLynch, Morris, TJLogan, Joe Williams, Shaun Wilson
WR: Jeffery,Cooper, Josh Gordon, Dede Westbrook, Cam Meredith, Brice Butler, Chester Rogers, Lockett, Switzer, Malone, Cain (IR)
TE: Gronk, Swaim, Maxx Williams

Superflex and 2QB leagues vary so much from one league to another, I'm not so sure that we can really say where a QB should go. Leagues that have hoarding owners can drive the price of a QB up, which influences when they go. Especially when Supply doesn't meet demand.

2QB, 10 Man

1.08 Mahomes
2.02 Watson (me)
2.03 Trubisky (me)
3.05 Kizer

I was effectively the most QB needy team in the draft.

SF, 12 Team, .5 PPR

1.10 Deshaun Watson
2.09 Trubisky
2.11 Mahomes (me, have Mariota, Stafford, Flacco with Kessler meh)
2.12 Kizer

Godwin was the only player on the board that I really liked at the time, opted to just go QB.

Newer league with newer dynasty players.

In my superflex draft, Mahomes went 1.07, Watson went 1.08, Trubisky went 1.10, and Kizer went 2.04.
...and I was premature. One had all 3 go in the 1st with Kizer early 2nd. Makes sense as this league is established and QB's are difficult to deal for.

1.09 Mahomes
1.12 Trubisky
2.03 Kizer

I do find that as a league develops the willingness of someone to move a QB tightens. May just be me though. The potential of so many proven assets reaching or approaching the end (Brees, Brady, Eli, Rivers, Ben...Romeo, Peyton, and even Cutler thus far) is a reason as well and will surely be driving up the value of prospects and the younger proven guys even further in the near future. The 2018 class, as it looks to be right now, will be interesting to monitor and see where those guys go. A solid 3 look locked to 1st round right now, noting so much can and usually does change.
