cole beasley just turned 28

Postby sloth8u » Tue May 09, 2017 8:40 am

ive been relatively quiet this offseason when it comes to my buy lows.

beasley is the ideal guy that im targeting. dak loves him....from week 1 (12 targets)....throughout the season....tpg, never changed. beasley is a guy that received 5-7 attempts, produced minimal touchdowns in a progressing offense. with dez and zeke commanding a ton of attention, my bet is beasley benefits. of course, we are talking long shots....but kicking tires on long shot wr's?

thoughts on buy low wrs.....what wr can you buy outside of the top 25 rookies?

The first guy that came to mind was Willie Snead. I have no idea where he is being valued at, though I can't imagine it is very high. With Cooks gone and Thomas gaining more defensive attention, I think Willie has a chance to be a sneaky flex play. He has put up decent numbers his first couple years in that offense. Adding more runners should open up the pass a little too.

Pierre Garcon, Robert Woods, Michael Companaro, and Aiken are a few guys that I like as high floor low ceiling bench depth. It's nice to grab a couple of guys like this for cheap to balance out higher ceiling prospects that aren't producing yet.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I like John Brown, maybe he doesn't fall into this category but I think he's due for a bounce back season because he's supposedly healthier than last season and with Michael Floyd, he should be a lot more targets.

thought that i'd pop this backup and share a few others that ive kicked the tires on. ive been targeting jj nelson and paul richardson in quite a few leagues lately. robby anderson is an interesting buy aswell for pennies. wheaton is also a guy who may find plenty of targets.

anyone else have some names that a late pick may land?

I've gotten Richardson in almost all my leagues, often as a throw-in. Draft pedigree, highly touted, held back by injuries and situation.

Aiken is a good one too; not too sexy, but got it done last year in a worse situation.

And for rookies, I've been liking Kupp. He's like the opposite of the DGB/CPatt types we all know and hate. Trying my late-round luck on "not super athletic but boy is he good at football!" for once.
