12 Team PPR

1.1 Fournette- after going back and forth between him and McCaffrey
1.10 Foreman- still in dyer need of another RB and my targets Hunt and Perine were gone so I put some faith in the reports from DD, Rotoviz, and Astonishment.
2.1 Hunt by trade- I really wanted Hunt and was able to move my 2.1, 3.1, and 5.1 and C. Thompson for Hunt 3.9 and 5.9
3.9 Gallman - at this stage I think he is worth a shot. Perkins is not a lock to start and Gallman was a 4th round pick vs Perkins as a 5th round

I like Mixon at 1.7, and Godwin at 5.7?? Crazy the jumps in value, he was being talked as I late first right before the draft. Landing spot is not the greatest short-term, but not terrible. Plus, when (not if) DeSean goes down for a few games this year, he may be ready to step in and contribute.

Right before the draft, I traded out of 1.09 & 2.07 - packaged those 2 picks with my 2018 1st & Jordan Matthews - received Michael Thomas, Pierre Garcon, and a 2018 3rd. Ended up being Ross / Njoku / Matthews / 2018 1st for Thomas / Garcon / 3rd.

Weirdest Picks to my mind thru four rounds:

1.4 OJ Howard?!?!?!

1.9 David Njoku-I had thought I could guarantee I'd land him 1.10 to 1.12, but apparently not

2.3 M. Lynch-I was curious where he'd go

2.4 C. Kupp -I know some people like him, but a bit much to me going that early

2.7 Jamaal Williams- Another too early to me. Like Aaron Jones better.

2.11 Kenny Golladay-COnsidering guys like Godwin and Taiwan Taylor were left, kinda shocked at that pick.

3.4 Godwin-I would have taken him a good 15 picks earlier.

3.5 Marlon Mack-I was debating Mack, Godwin and Samuel at 2.12 and am completely shocked that they were still available several picks later.

3.8 Jeremy McNichols-Shocked he was still around. Thought he had top 15-20 value, available at 32.

4.1 Chad Reynolds: Real good value there

4.2 Taywan Taylor-great value again

4.6 Jonnu Smith-Wish I knew where he was going when I wasn't taking him ; )

1.08- Kareem Hunt: I know it was early but I'm high on him because I think he's got enough talent to eventually beat out Ware and definitely talented enough to get on the field early, also I needed RBs really bad on this team.

2.05- D'Onta Foreman: I thought the value was about right with this pick and his situation may not be as good as Hunt's but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the Texans lead back role in a couple of seasons.

3.08- James Conner: I have Lev Bell on this team and there wasn't anyone available that I liked that much more so I decided to secure Bell's handcuff.

3.12- Taywan Taylor: I thought it was pretty decent value here and it's not like the Titans are loaded at WR, so he could get some early playing time.

4.05- George Kittle: TE premium league and he doesn't have much in front of him at TE.

Pretty cheap price to pay, in the last two posts, in a superflex (both 21st picks) to get a QB drafted 2nd overall, even if he was reached for.

2.04 Mitchell Trubisky. DeShaun Watson went right before this, I am happy. Need a young QB to groom while Rodgers enters the backend of his career.

2.05 Samaje Perine. This situation reminds me a lot of Jordan Howard last year.

3.06 Gerald Everett. TE class is absolutely loaded. McVay created the Jordan Reed TE role and wants to use Everett the same way.

3.07 Taywan Taylor. One of the best values in this year's draft. I look forward to watching him grow with Mariota.

5.09 Mike Glennon. Insurance for Mr. Buscuit/bye week maybe.

Entered the draft with 2.15(2.4), 3.24(3.6), 3.43(3.11), and 4.28(4.7).
Past 2 years I've finished in the playoffs but never had the firepower to capture a title. Realizing this I decided to blow up my roster.
-Traded away Brady in the beginning of the draft for the 2.02 (2.1). For a start 1 qb league I felt this was solid return and I still had Taylor so I felt comfortable considering I'm rebuilding.
-Shortly after I traded lacy for 1.47(1.12) and a 18' 3rd. Not a fan of the situation in Seattle with Rawls and prosise plus the weight and injury history.
-OTC with 1.47 with the last copy of ross left I traded 1.47 and 3.43 for 1.49 (toilet bowl pick), 3.37 (3.10), and 4.32 (4.8). Looking back at this I definitely could have received more but was happy with the bump in the 3rd and a late round flier.
-1.49 drafted Engram. Feel like he is going to be a stud and will be the only Te to make a splash their rookie year.
-2.02 drafted Juju. Loved to see him slip to the 2nd as I've seen him go in the 1.8 to 1.11 range typically.
-At this point I received a offer of 2.14(2.4) and 2.28 (2.7) offer for my 18' first. Rookie fever made me accept lol. Regretted this almost immediately but starting to come to terms with it.
-2.14 drafted Curtiss Samuel. I was a huge Percy Harvin fan and feel like he is a more durable version of him.
-2.15 drafted Joe williams. Started buying the hype and also felt like I could aquire Hyde on the cheap during the draft do to all the negative news coming out. Ended up trading prosise and a 18' 3rd for hyde. Now I feel great about this pick.
-2.28 drafted Zay jones. This pick made me feel great about the 18' first trade I did earlier. Zay is late first value and I'm ecstatic he fell this far.
- At the start of the 3rd I've been doing talks to aquire treadwell and get rid of corey coleman. Around the time I'm getting info on coco getting injured so I feel like I don't want to put up with a now injury prone reciever in my eyes. Ended up trading coco and 4.28 for treadwell and 3.24 (3.6).
-After seeing a copy of watson left on the board and needing a backup qb to Taylor I made a move to move up within striking range. Traded 3.24 and 3.37 for 3.16 (3.4) AND 4.03 (4.1). It was about to work until another qb needy team traded up to the pick right before me. Lessons learned.
-3.16 drafted josh reynolds. Believe he is the guy to own in LA and think he has a higher ceiling then kupp.
-4.03 drafted Mahomes. Warming up to his upside.
-traded 2 future 3rds for a future 4th and Goff. Solves my backup qb problem short term and also let's me buy into the mcvay hype lol.

10 team PPR (team 1 in signature)

1.02- Corey Davis- Wanted Fournette but wasn't going to reach for a RB when I believe there is a clear top 2 tier this year. Should be pretty set at WR for a few years.

1.09- David Njoku- Felt I needed one of the top TEs in this draft with not being able to rely on Eifert staying healthy. Njoku is a future stud in the making who is only 20.

2.01- John Ross- Again went BPA here rather than going team need (RB). Ross is my 6th best player on my rookie big board and feel he is so much more than just a nine route speedster.

2.04- D'Onta Foreman- Part of the reason I went WR and TE for my first 3 picks was knowing I'd most likely be able to get the RB I had rated second best in this class. Miller is JAG to me and Foreman is the real deal.

2.05- Alvin Kamara- Love that he dropped to me here. Due to this being a PPR league I think he has the potential to be a RB2 in a year or two.

3.05- Carlos Henderson- Could be a special player if he learns the little things about the WR position and he has plenty of time to do that behind DT and Sanders.

4.04- Chad Williams- Later flipped him for a 2018 3rd, which I then flipped for Ben Roethlisberger to shore up my QB position.
