The reports saying the Pats have gone hard after OBJ and had the door slammed in their face when they asked about AB suggests to me that New England is truly desperate to acquire the services of a difference-making WR1 (that they can no longer count on Gronk probably has something to do with it). As such, I just might be able to believe that the Pats would give Gordon another chance, just because they're that intent on finding someone that Brady can lean on to make plays down field, and they want that player right now. So if they can't wait on a rookie to develop, and no one will trade them a stud, Gordon may be their only option.

He was dropped in my 10 team league at IR cutdowns last week. I've scooped him up... much like the Patriots are probably thinking... you can't argue with "free".
I hope he legitimately turns it around. I've always loved watching him play... he'll be 28 in April. I hope he really takes stock of his life and tries to turn it around.
