Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Still glad I sold for a first in August. We are halfway through the fantasy year and he's still hardly startable.
Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
I declined a offer for Amari Cooper and Derrick Carr!!

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
In a SF I would have snap accepted that offer. Carr alone would have been worth it, IMO, despite his struggles.

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
I just couldn't, this SF league is strange, they don't value QB's highly, that's why he was being offered. its a 10 team if that mattersFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 11:21 amIn a SF I would have snap accepted that offer. Carr alone would have been worth it, IMO, despite his struggles.
We still have Eli hanging in the FA.
And Cooper, idk what's up with him, that's Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde right there!
At least I know JG can ball, just needs to stay out of trouble, seems like hes doing a good job with, no one has heard a peep out of this guy since joining that Pats!

Wasn't that just 3 weeks ago?

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Then stack up your roster with QB's, and hoard them. Do you really think the Patriots just wave a wand and change Gordon as a person in a few weeks? IDK, Cooper and Carr for Gordon in a 10 team SF is such a good deal.joeya2001 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 11:38 amI just couldn't, this SF league is strange, they don't value QB's highly, that's why he was being offered. its a 10 team if that mattersFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 11:21 amIn a SF I would have snap accepted that offer. Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Id rather not hoard QB's they take up valuable roster space, especially one who is at best a QB2.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:29 pmThen stack up your roster with QB's, and hoard them. As for the magic wand, This is the first time in JG life where on an organization that actually wants to win, and the culture is life changing, It made Randy Moss pipe down. As I said above, I'm a JG believer and unless its a gross overpay like a high end 1st, id rather hold. I got him for free 2 years ago.
He arguably their most gifted athlete on the roster, I'm not saying hes their next Randy Moss, but I'm willing to see!

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Haha wasted roster space on a QB2 in SF... you've been hanging out with Josh Gordon too much
Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
I have no problems with this stance. When an owner believes in a player, and is not sold on the assets coming back, regardless what consensus says, that is their prerogative. At worst it turns into a learning experience about when to avoid letting yourself harm your own team - but as much as I still like Cooper - I cannot disagree with his comments, especially when the initial cost was mentioned. The only concern for me is how long Gordon will stay with the Patriots. If the Patriots culture is exactly what the doctor ordered for Gordon then hopefully it is the next few years.joeya2001 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 7:19 am

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
What do we think of Gordon at Pats sofar? I don't get much of a chance to watch Patriot games so can only go off boxscore which I don't like doing, I have seen his snap count has been rising every week.
Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Think hes going to do just fine there. TB spreads it around so the points wont be massive but he should be steady. I'm hoping for a TD this week as hes in my lineupAussieMate wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 3:49 pm What do we think of Gordon at Pats sofar? Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
Last week I got my first ever Gordon share, traded away Shady for him. Trying to decide if I should keep him as my WR3/4 or try to flip him before he hits the bong again...
Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement
I think hes safe in regards to suspensions as long as he is in NE. Just a gut feeling. Maybe he slips in the offseason, but rest of season he should be fineOddball456 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 5:36 pm Last week I got my first ever Gordon share, traded away Shady for him.
