Agreed. They have no connection to the guy who last posted a good season in 2013. Also, seems like loaning an irresponsible drug addict money is probably not the best idea (if you aren't a bank). I truly hate this thread, seems like people don’t know the struggle of addiction. I just want him to survive and make it the league because if he does we will see one of the bst talents we have ever seen.

Something clearly did happen because Gordon may be reporting but he still needs league approval before he can actually practice. if NOTHING happened and he simply was being pro-active and getting healthy or avoiding Hard knocks why is there a " jointly negotiated substance abuse program"

This situation is just weird. Sounds like he didn't report because he knew he wouldn't pass a drug test and instead delayed and entered a substance abuse program.
