Outlook for UDFAs still available?

Postby IBall2 » Sat Apr 29, 2017 5:04 pm

I'm surprised by a few of the players that didn't get picked in the draft. What are your thoughts on these players? Usually they don't have much value and there were reasons why they went undrafted but there's always 1 or 2 diamonds in the rough that end up with value.

Some of the noteworthy players that didn't get drafted-
KD Cannon
Ishmael Zamora
Krishawn Hogan
Travin Dural
Corey Clement
Joe Yearby
DeVeon Smith

KDC=Niners
Zamora=Raiders
Hogan=Reported to the Colts but he denied it.
Dural=Saints
Clement=Eagles
Yearby=?
Fred Ross=Panthers
Smith=?

I like Cannon's landing spot the most. I think he sticks on the Niners roster, easily.

Here's a list in one place of all teams, there may be better lists, but thought it might help..

Does Corey Clement have a chance to make something of his opportunity in Philly?

The backfield competition seems exceptionally weak where really anyone could emerge as a threat.

I had a late pick and grabbed him at the end of the third round. Just looking for more insight on him and his potential in Philly.

I'd say he's definitely got a shot especially as an early down back. I think Smallwood is the lead back but again he's the only back that says "short yardage"
Smallwood, 5-11 200lb
Pumphrey 5-9 170lb
Sproles 5-6 190lb
Clement 5-10 220lb
