Nah, we've been hung up on that too long. WR is talent > situation. RB is situation > talent. Anyone can run behind dallas' line, no one can run behind the rams line.
I still think RB talent is very important, but I agree that situation definitely is more important for RB's than WR's because there are more injuries at the position. Injuries open up opportunities, which opens up windows to sell mediocre talent for profit. If you sold Jeremy Langford for a 1st a year ago, then you're popping bottles today. If you sold Branden Oliver for a 1st a few years ago, then you're still doing backflips today. If you sold Andre Ellington for a 1st years ago, then you get the picture.

I'm very surprised he fell to the 7th round. NFL teams must've really panicked on his 40 time. But it just allows me to get him in any league for zero investment.
Had a horrible combine in general: 22nd percentile speed score, 40th percentile agility score, 44th percentile catch radius, 25th percentile in SPARQ-x. His breakout age, and market share numbers and burst score are the selling points, as is the film, but the rest of the #'s are scary along with the slight frame.
Ford's never been a burner to me, so him lacking speed wasn't a surprise. His combine wasn't good, but there's a lot more that goes into WR than measureables and Ford does those things at a high level. The 7th round drop was a big surprise to me, but I'm still confident he's going to be a productive pro.

Well if I remember right two of the biggest factors correlated seem to be breakout age and market share and he does well on both of those metrics.

Beautiful necrobump. Thank you sir

I'm a Vikings fan and I have 0 idea how we turned our O-line around in just 1 season, so that its good enough for Cook to look like offensive player of the tear for 4 weeks, and then for Lat Murray and McKinnon to be still productive backs after that

Lol, looks like some concerns were overplayed, but others weren’t. Mixon couldn’t overcome CIN, JAX’s O-Line hasn’t done Fournette many favors, and all the mentioned veteran backs pretty much faded away. Obviously Hunt and Kamara were the big whiffs here.
