As MucBuc said every team he visits will tell him they like him even if they dont. It is 100% in his best interest to make him self look the best he can and get the best possible draft position so that he makes the most money out of the gate.onetwothree wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2017 2:32 pmLong recovery for a "minor" ankle surgery.
I wonder if he got a promise from some team so he's shut it down a bit and taking it easy? Only heard he's taken visits to the Titans and the Eagles.
Corey Davis - is this it, will it get better?

He has for me (plus I own Mariota, that would be a nice combo)

All it takes is Mike Williams going to New Orleans, San Diego or something for people to change their minds.jetsfan5757 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2017 5:49 pm Drafted number 5 overall!!! Has he cemented his spot as WR1 among rookies now?

In the league I have the 1.01 I am leaning that way. I have been for a couple weeks.

Re: Corey Davis and the small school
The depth at RB has had me leaning Davis at 1.01 and seeing what's left at RB once all the big names are off the board.
I was very excited to see this pick.

Re: Corey Davis and the small school
I like his landing spot the most of the wrs tonight. Problem is that the league I have 1.01 in has no rbs....
Re: Corey Davis and the small school
I am right there with you. Rbs are scarce in my league. Seems going with BPA I would be taking Davis and Lenny with my 1 and 2. Not sure if I go Howard with my fifth or see what the best RB left is as I have to start two RBs

Re: Corey Davis and the small school
I would probably take a day 2 RB at 1.05 over Howard personally. Not as much value in TEs that early in the draft and you can get 1 of howard/engram/njoku in the middle of the second round.

Nick Whalen, is that you?
Every prospect has to start somewhere, and having his level or production, size, and draft pedigree is a nice start. A stable QB is a big benefit too. No matter the prospect you can always find flaws. I'm a big fan of Davis and was really hoping he would have come out last year in hopes he could be had a little cheaper in rookie drafts. Unfortunately I don't have shares at the moment given the high rookie pick cost, but hope to in the future. Whether he turns into the caliber of player you mention is really on him from here on out. He looks to have components to reach an Andre Johnson career, but it comes down to the player and if he pushes himself to it. That part is anyone's guess.

You have my attention. Are you willing to share your evaluation of Davis?sloth8u wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:53 am THOSE THAT RECOGNIZE HIGH END WR PRODUCTION!!! THIS THREAD IS FOR YOU?
im a firm believer that this class presents a tier of 1. by heading.. im a believer that corey davis is not only the next "solid wr"...but has the potential to be the overall #1 for many years. im not affraid to say that davis belongs ahead of cooper before he steps on the field.
im not talking trade value. purely player evauation here....what say you?
