Which current NFL RBs will lose value to rookies?

I think the rbs who lose the most value to rookies include Blount, JStew, Dion Lewis, Montgomery, Abdullah, Ware. Who else do you see in danger?

Just about any RB outside of the top 7 will take a hit in value if their team drafts a RB in the first 3-4 rounds. Even guys like Miller, Ajayi, McCoy, and Hyde can see a drop in ADP if that happened. Not saying a rookie is going to steal their jobs or even take away playing time, but people's perceptions will cause them to lose some value.

Honestly I don't think Dion Lewis will lose any value. He already has lost value by his post season fumbles, James White's SB heroics, and most importantly, the signing of Burkhead.

That's true. I guess I was referring more to the starting RBs who currently have a defined role.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cincy drafts an RB. Hill has strictly been a volume runner after his rookie year and he's a free agent after the season.

Also, I agree that Rob Kelley is a strong sell if he wasn't already.

If Montgomery loses value, it won't be much. Most people are already pricing in a rookie being signed. I would say the same about Gore, Kelley and Forte.

I think with Hill's inconsistency and Gio's injury issues, Cincy will draft a running back. My guess is Hill is more likely to lose value in that situation.

Jordan Howard is probably anfairly high risk as well. The team will want a better third down option as Howard wasn't a great receiver and I don't see that being discussed at all. With it being John Fox coaching, you could end up with another DWilly/JStew situation.

I expect Detroit to grab someone.

Ingram. As an owner I'm a bit worried. They're bringing in AP for a visit next week, and with Hightower gone they could go RB early easily.

If Montgomery loses value, it won't be much. Most people are already pricing in a rookie being signed. I would say the same about Gore, Kelley and Forte.

This is a very good point. If GB traded up for Fournette, or took a guy like Foreman or Perine in the 3rd, Monty will still have a Gio/Woodhead role most likely and that's all he's being valued at by most sane dynasty owners.

And for Indy, I expect Gore to be in the opposite (but similar situation). Unless we take a RB in the 1st round, or take Mixon in the 2nd, I fully expect Gore to lead a committee again. So a 4th/5th round selection of McNichols, Hunt, McGuire, Jamal Williams, etc really shouldn't change Gore's outlook a ton. Nobody is buying him for anything more than a cheap 1-year rental

Green Bay & Cincy both have quite a few draft picks, I believe...

This is an interesting post. For me it's hard to definitively say who will lose value prior to the draft. I think it depends on what teams actually draft a RB that they inted to let compete not to mention between rounds 1-4.
I think we can definitely speculate the potential candidates but to definitively say so is tough.

Since we are on rbs what do we expect from Paul Perkins and Blial Powell? (Let me know if it's appropriate to ask this on this post. Sorry if it's not.)
