I doubt they sign him. He's not good at pass pro and he's asking too much money

Moderators please arrest GLSmk!!

Charge: Attempted Murder of our fantasy dreams

How does he plead? Guilty!

What is his sentence? Must give up 1st round pick in each league that he owns one in.

Now lets get back to enjoying the idea of AP running for 1400 yards with the Patriots. :)
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Unless he's figured out some new way to stop fumbling, I don't see it. The Pats do not accept turnovers.

Most teams prefer to avoid turnovers.

Their (NE) turnover ratio last year was a measly +1.

Why is everyone so determined to suck the joy out of this! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

My bad, was looking at postseason rather than regular season stats - a more impressive +12.

sorry man, fact of the matter is AP just isn't that good anymore. If he signs somewhere and has a good year I'll gladly eat my words on that as I think he's been a great player his whole career. Just at some point everyone's motor runs down and I think for AP that was 2 years ago

Unless he takes close to the vet minimum I can't see them signing him (which would be a big drop from his reported ask of 8m) - he doesn't really help them all that much and to be quite honest, is probably not that good anymore.

Great career but he just didn't seem to have it last time he was in the field.

He can easily do what Blount did last year for them - but better. With Dion, James, and Rex to handle 3rd down passing duties AP can be their man on 1st down, when they play run heavy, and can still be a boss on the goal-line. I totally see him playing a similar role as a late career Jerome Bettis.

Pats are clearly going all-in to win as many rings before Brady falls off a cliff though. I have no idea how much cap space they have but I can certainly see them paying him a good chunk maybe on a 1 year deal.

So you think AP will easily set a career high for single season TDs?

Because that's what it would mean to do what Blount did, but better.

I do... the Patriots spend most of the game in the Red Zone.... More than most teams. If Peterson signs In New England he'll have a very high TD ceiling. With defenses dedicating special attention to Gronk and Putting a safety over the top in many cases for Cooks AP could feast on the most RB friendly defensive boxes he's ever seen. For the people who think he's done just go to his twitter feed yesterday where he was posting training videos of him training at a speed camp with 20-24 year old players. Not only is he blowing them away he shows crazy Burst in one drill where he Jumps a hurdle from a standing start then busts into a sprint. He looks like a rocket when he bursts into his sprint.

Adrian Peterson will be a RB1 in 2017 if he signs in New England.

Ummmmm pats>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>vikings, especially over the span of AP's career. If the pats use him exactly the same as they did blount, I dont doubt AP could beat blounts TDs. AP is the most physically gifted runner I've ever seen (granted I'm basically a baby) he is big, strong, fast, and runs hard as all heck! Give him first down and goal line stuff I bet he can punch in more than blount did, plus break off some longer run ins
