The 1.03 is the highest that I would take him.

Just curious.
Both teams feature QB's who can force defenses to respect them w/plenty of pass catchers in place. Neither should face stacked boxes. Those situations aren't as good as the Raiders, but they're nice.

I'm not the biggest fan of him arriving in GB but if they draft him then maybe depending on faith. Just making the viewpoint on why most would want him in GB.
yes he is, or at least was. By any metric analysis the guy has been exceptionally productive and efficient, his problem has been he's insanely injury prone, which is why he's never been on any of my teams since, if memory serves, his draft year. I did acquire him this offseason, but he was a toss in player in a pick for pick trade for player balancing in one of those annoying masters leagues.

IF Mixon goes to to Green Bay, do you think that Montgomery is just going to ride the bench behind him? I don't. Now, I don't think Montgomery is feature back material - but if Mixon goes there, you're going to have two pass catching backs siphoning snaps from each other.

Mathews did well in Philly - but is it really that much of a surprise? Talent was never the issue with Mathews (he has a career 4.4 YPC), it was his health. I would be careful assuming an RB would do well in Philly "just because Mathews did". I don't see Philly being a negative situation, but I don't think he should get a "boost" so to speak if he lands there.
Ty Montgomery only played RB due to necessity. He's not a hurdle for a talent like Mixon. He's a gadget player who will get a few snaps at RB--nobody gets every carry.

Philly has a very solid offensive line and they love to target the RB. Mixon is a better talent than Mathews, who simply isn't a starting caliber NFL RB.

Uh...what metrics are those? Per PFF, he's been a below average back the last 3 years, and he's never been anything better than average. Looking at Football Outsiders--he's not special by their metrics. He had a couple good seasons, tied to a high power offense. But he's never been anything but pretty solid; and even those days are long gone.

So Lenny/Davis 1.1 and 1.2? I keep seeing Davis sliding in mocks. If Mixon goes ahead of Davis, does that change anything?

If Mixon goes ahead of Davis in the NFL draft, he'll very likely do the same in the large majority of dynasty drafts.

I'm not ruling Mixon out at 1.01. If he goes to GB in the first, I think he's my pick.

Exactly, never understood where people get certain information when the stats are laid out in front of us for all to see.

This is the official Joe Mixon thread. Not much else to be said except that his fumble today probably didn't help him make any progress to becoming the #1 RB.

Kind of a weird fumble almost as if there was a miscommunication. I still believe in his talent.

Watch the video. Clearly on him... he didn't look the ball in and closed his arms before his QB had stuck it in his stomach.

Agreed on his talent, but he needs to make sure he doesn't make those mental mistakes.

Ahh...I must have missed that. I was watching the game but thought he and Dalton got their wires crossed.

I'm a little down on Mixon right now just because he is being used as a committee back in the preseason and that's really all we can expect to start the season as well. I thought I'd never be saying this but I might have to start Fat rob week one over Joe Mixon.
