For fun - Worst trade offers of 2017

Got this one last week:

Give: 1.03, 1.09, 1.11, Colin Kaepernick
Receive: Tyler Boyd, Kirk Cousins, Ted Ginn, and Percy Harvin

The best part as always are the comments: Gives you some depth at WR with guys who could easily have startable weeks. Also, I would promise to not take a WR at 1.03 if you take a WR at 1.01, which is my assumption.

Why do people waste their time and breath on these kinds of offers and then the ridiculous logic to boot? So lame.

It's not awful, but I thought this offer was interesting as it came from a DLF writer that also added "[Larry Fitzgerald is] practically dead. Near zero dynasty value." I laughed and shook my head; I expected better tactics from the pros!

These supposed "pros" are no better at the hobby than the rest of us. The two DLF and FBG writers in my leagues are consistently bottom feeders in my leagues.

Someone wants me to give Zeke straight up for 1.03.
How does that make any sense at all?
- Zeke was 1.01 last year
- Zeke gained a lot of value by proving he is a top 3 dynasty RB.
- How is he worth less than 1.01 a year later?

Andrew Luck, Jordy Nelson, 1.08 for 1.02.
- Now I am aggressively trying to get either 1.01 or 1.02 in this one league, but that is just entirely too much for one unknown player in my opinion.

PS I have seen a few of my own offers in here. Hey they are worth a shot some times. Lol.

So long as this deal wasn't super flex and depending on my team makeup if I was rebuilding I'd actually consider this trade.

I've got two more bad offers, from different leagues, not in sig. Both from 12 team PPR leagues.This first one is horrible and it cracks me up that the other owner felt the need to ask me to throw a pick in as well, lol.

I give: Davante Adams + 3.11
I get: 2.09

This one is pretty bad too. The only league that I have Watkins in and I figured people would try to buy low, so I guess this isn't unexpected but still pretty bad.

In my 32-team league in sig I got offered Britt, 2018 1st, 2019 1st for MG. The guy offering had the 29th pick last season....so basically even if he's middle of the pack it's Britt and a 2018 2nd, 2019 2nd in 12 team leagues for MG. Come on man!

Lol love when people in true 32 team likes try to act like a 1st there has the same value as it does in other leagues.

Had a whole string with a guy over the weekend.

He approaches me asking what I want for Cam Meredith, I responded, if I were returning in 2018 I would want 2018 1st plus a player but since I am likely not returning, I do not place any value on any '18 picks so I would want 1-2 players of that value.

First offer:
I Send: Cam Meredith
I get: 2018 2nd.

Apparently reading comprehension is not his strong suit. Strike one. Trade rejected, no counter.

Second offer:
I send: Cam Meredith
I get: 2018 2nd, 2018 3rd.

Again, trade rejected, no counter. Guy emails, "you need to check the trade analyzer as that was a very fair trade." (Strike two)

Check the trade analyzer, it says the value of what I give up is 8.5, the value of what I get is 6.0. 43% difference in value. This is "fair"?? I'll pass.

Guy asks 4 times for a counter. I send him Meredith, R. Woods, L. Green for Snead and Rudolph. According to his precious little trade analyzer, I am giving up 13.1 in value to get 12.9. I am a "master statesman"! Rejected with a comment "that offer is not fair at all".
I tell him check your little trade analyzer doohickey. "Oh, I know, but those things aren't worth bleep".

Theeeennnn....I put out an announcement that DJ is on the block, he jumps on the bidding with this lovely offer:

I get: Blount, Joe Williams, Snead, Rudolph.

Talk about 4 pennies for a 50 dollar bill. Needless to say, rejected without counter, told him I wouldn't take that package for David Johnson from Pittsburgh let alone David Johnson from Arizona, you know, the #1 RB in fantasy football. Strike three, blacklisted for life.

I think this is one of the worst offers that I've received or at least in awhile.
