Mid 2nd Round Guys to Consider
What are the some mid round Second Guys to consider I've been looking at Cooper Kupp but i don't he'll be there when I'm on the clock. I know Curtis Samuel is a guy to consider but i watched some film on him and his hands are suspect to me, they used him like a gadget player in OSU. What are some other guys to consider at this part of the draft?

Is your draft before the NFL draft?brooklynkid wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2017 11:22 am What are the some mid round Second Guys to consider I've been looking at Cooper Kupp but i don't he'll be there when I'm on the clock. If yes, then someone like Chris Godwin could be good value. Kupp is also a decent target. There are a few others.

Re: Mid 2nd Round Guys to Consider
Kupp, goodwin, dupre, ford for wrs. Landing spot should factor in. Their all pretty talented & the last two this time last year would've been in the top 10 for most dynasty mocks.
Perine, foreman for rbs if they can steal the show, else not get a satellite back for ppr purposes.
Djoku & engram might be around for te's. With Engrams speed his landing spot is one I'm interested in.

Re: Mid 2nd Round Guys to Consider
Might need to necro this thread after the NFL draft because I'm also curious about good targets in the second, but I agree that this is the round that could potentially see the most change based on draft positions and landing spots.
Just look at mocks from last year pre and post draft to see how much players swing.

Re: Mid 2nd Round Guys to Consider
i'll echo that we really dont know right now, but add that i tend to target qb's in this range. its a bit early, but your typically getting a guy that you know will see the field at some point. your drafting guys that the nfl tells you will be franchise qbs.
there's alot of talk about te's this year. in general, i tend to stay away from drafting them and just trade picks for veterans. id much rather trade for current production than hope something works out down the road when it comes to the position. my guess is....with the te's...mid 2nd's will carry some solid trade value...thats certainly something that i'll be looking to do.

I think people reach for guys like hunt and Scott, and some of the 4th/5th round rbs who should be in line for earlier production

Re: Mid 2nd Round Guys to Consider
Favored targets for round 2:
1. C. Godwin-Actually I expect him to go round 1.
2. D. Njoku-Expect to go round 1
3. E. Engram-Expect to go round 1
4. Nicholson-Close to a perfect situation if he can stay healthy for camp.
5. Perine-better situation than Nicholson, but I like Nicholson more as a prospect.
6. M. Mack-Same as above, may be the best situation of all but he's 3rd in my ranking of landing spot combined with talent.
7. Smith-Schuster-Has an opportunity to sneak in and land a starting gig by '18.
8. C. Samuel-I don't know what to think of that situation, but he could end up very productive.
9. A. Kamara-Honestly I think the starting gig could be his in '18, just worried about Brees and Payton being gone soon.
10. Z. Jones-Could slide right in as a starter but I'm not high on his overall talent.
11. K. Hunt-Love hunt, but his situation is cloudy.
12. J. Williams-Could have that starting gig by the time Hyde gets hurt, but the situation is terrible beyond the head coach.
13. J. Reynolds-Strikes me as the most talented WR on the Rams.
14. T. Taylor-Difficult situation but I think he and Davis are the best WR's on the roster other than R. Matthews. Not sure how Davis-Taylor-Matthews-T. Sharpe
I love the 2nd round and 3rd round in this draft.
