I agree, but Oakland was in a RBBC last year too, and Murray still put up nice numbers. I don't see why Lynch wouldn't be able to at least match or get close to that.

Should be interesting. I'd say early 2nd. I paid $107 BBID for him out of a total $200 yearly budget a couple of weeks ago. I feel like that's a steal now.

One of my leagues already had the 2017 rookie draft and Lynch is still a FA so I'm guessing someone may go upwards of 75% of their WW money to try and get him for a 1-2 year rental and make the championship push.

I have the 2.01 in a combined rookie/FA draft and if he were available there I would take him without a minutes hesitation.

I like it, we call it the favre rule, just incase guys retire and come back the team that lost him for reasons beyond their control doesn't get screwed.

It was very reliant on TDs. Murray got 12 on only 195 carries. I do not advise banking on lightning like that striking twice.

Soonest I'd do it would be a 3rd, and I'd wonder if I'm reaching.

Probably depends on the state of your team. If you're competitive he's worth more than if you're rebuilding, obviously.

For me it's a balance. I'm competitive but aging so I need to balance production now versus long term potential.

I still think I'd take him early 2nd. Who has a better chance of putting up numbers from that tier of rookie?

I assume Oakland isn't dragging him out of retirement for no reason when they could just draft a back in this deep class and have their young RBBC. He'll be 1a.

Curious if we have any recent examples of RBs coming out of retirement to play effective football. The consensus seems to think Lynch steps in at near full strength after not playing for a year (and not playing very well the last time we saw him on the field).
