Holding only the 2.01 I'd be praying Engram in Oakland fell to me, which I doubt. I like Njoku's talent but Cleveland, despite a fantastic free agency period, doesn't thrill me. I like Godwin in ATL, despite the depth at WR there. I also like Kupp in SF, Kamara to Carolina and Hunt to Baltimore.

Trubisky to Niners makes me sad. I hope they pass on this QB class. Hoyer is fine as bridge to next year's crop.

Mixon to Philly means I'll be praying he's still available at 1.04.

How do you come up with your mock? Composite of other mocks or looking at rankings and pairing them with team needs?

I rarely look at other mocks - of course I see them in passing but I try not to let them influence me too much. For RB, WR, LB, Edge rushers, & Safeties I watch a lot of film.
For OL, DL, QB, CB, & TE I struggle to know what to look for in film so I just read a TON, and in those cases I do look at rankings & mocks to get an idea of a player's traits/strengths.

In terms of my actual mocks, I try to keep them as pure as possible (meaning I slot in who I think makes the most sense, NOT so much who I think the teams will actually draft in April)

Awesome. Thanks for sharing that insight. I assume you look back for accuracy and also to understand why there are differences with the actual draft?

Sounds like a fun exercise. Appreciate you posting it!

This is the first year that I've done mock drafts, so I don't have history to look back on personally, but yes I'll definitely be doing that!

And thanks, it's fun for me to do but I hope it can be insightful for others, to shed light on some of the deeper prospects beyond just the Garretts, Allens, Fosters, etc...

Imo, my Panthers have a much greater need for Ryan Ramczyk(or Cam Robinson) than for Corey Davis. ...even with the Matt Khalil signing.
12 Team Standard Dynasty - QB, RB, 2WR, 2Flex, K, 3IDP (WR and TE are the same)

QB - Patrick Mahomes, Trevor Lawrence
RB - Bijan Robinson, Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Tony Pollard. Najee Harris, Javonte Williams, Rachaad White, D'Andre Swift
WR - Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jerry Jeudy, Kyle Pitts, George Pickens, Jameson Williams, Kadarius Toney
K - Daniel Carlson
IDP - Nick Bolton, Devin White, Derwin James

well lukky all i can say is I hope everyone of your steelers picks except carl lawson are wrong as I would hate that draft . Especially curtis samuel and zach banner . The steelers have enough little wr they would be better off taking chris godwin whom you have going the very next pick after samuel and zach banner looks like a complete whiff from what I have seen . The jones kid would fill 5 tech depth need so that pick is OK .
my dream draft for the steelers based off of where you have guys going
30 - obi melinfonwu - 2nd choice gareon conley 3rd choice derek rivers (YSU)
62 - chris godwin - 2nd choice kevin king
92 jake butt -2nd choice wayne gallman
103 adam bisnowaty - 2nd choice rasul douglas
137 jordan willis 2nd choice tyus bowser edge (U of houston) tarell bashum (Ohio U)

please kevin colbert no more midget wr , load up on defense and maybe a skill position guy or two .
.....this has been a public service announcement from forum superstar clarion contrarion
QB luck- driskell
WR ant brown evans c davis golladay godwin gordon j washington doctson watson lazard patrick henderson

I've seen a serious mock on bleacher reporr having Kamara at 10, while i think he should be a 3rd rounder.
1. 14-teamer, .5 PPR, 2 Flex, 16 keepers
QB :Palmer, Bridgewater, RG3
RB : Gurley, Hyde, Yeldon, McKinnon
WR: Dez, Jeffery, Evans, Watkins, Marshall, Diggs, Sharpe
TE : Eifert, ASJ,
IDP : Mosley, Olegtree, Collins &Stuff

2. 12-teamer, standard, 6 PTD, full dynasty
QB: Rodgers, Bortles, Petty
RB : McCoy, Forsett, Spiller, Lewis, KRob, Ridley, Haynes
WR : Julio, AJ Green, Tate, Latimer, Lee
TE : Gronk , Hill, Chandler

Norris had him at 10 in the mock he released last night. Sounds like the NFL guys really like him much more than the fantasy guys. Alvin over Dalvin!

If a team takes Alvin over Dalvin, that will be absolute craziness. I can see a team taking CM or Mixon over Cook if that's their preference, but there would be no excuse for taking any other RB over Cook, assuming LF goes first

The thought of the Jets taking Tim Williams makes me sad. A lot better in the 2nd round as compared to back in the day when I would see it in the 1st round, but I still am not a Williams supporter and really hope they pass, despite the fact they could use someone there. (Edit: I will note that it isn't just him as a player, but also him as a personality. Add in the fact that the Jets are lacking a strong veteran presence/winning culture, that it will only foster Williams' poor behaviors.)

I am surprised you have Hooker dropping down to #24. You think he's overhyped from an NFL impact perspective, or is this all injury driven? It seems too far for me, though anything can happen and people are too quick to rule out these types of possibilities. He and Joseph would be a sexy combo (count me in as a huge Joseph fan...).

If the Browns are able to come away with Garrett, Watson, Njoku, and then Tabor...that would be a huge success in my opinion. I know people aren't full believers of Watson, but I'm rooting for him and think he's got the drive to make it. Elite option? Probably not, and running QB's scare me, but he could make it.

I think Dede Westbrook has a better chance of going undrafted than 3rd round personally.

The Hooker slotting was purely due to prospects that I think make more sense for their respective teams, going ahead of him. Tons of defensive talent.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he goes top 5-10

Re: 4-Round NFL Mock Draft *POST COMBINE & FREE AGENCY*

Almost a month later, the only major things I would change are:

1. Sidney Jones will probably fall at LEAST a full round, if not 2 rounds.

2. Jordan Willis should probably be a full round or so higher. That's the buzz he's getting lately, or that he may even sneak into the late 1st

Whoa whoa Lucky, be careful about using abbreviations on here as opposed to wasting time repeatedly typing the same names over and over. Jokes aside, I wonder how far up rookie drafts Perine, McNichols, and Zay would go based on these landing spots. I would say Kamara too, but he already seems to have his hype train full speed ahead.
