Adjusting Rankings for League Specific Scoring

Postby Schmev22 » Tue Mar 07, 2017 4:46 pm

Just wanted to see if anyone had any "rules of thumb" for adjusting a published ranking to account for "unusual" league scoring.

Specifically, I'm interested in adjusting PPR rankings for half-PPR and adjusting for TE premium, but anything other tips welcome!

Is it as simple as bump all the RBs up by X% etc? Or is there some other conventional wisdom out there I can steal?

Thanks all.

I don't shift my draft order very much if at all for .5PPR from 1 PPR but I do have a slight WR bias in my draft rankings so I will adjust for very specific RB's.
TE premium you are better off paying for a TE you know will produce than drafting the "elite TE" early in a draft. TE's just don't often produce enough quickly to be worth early picks imo. Scoring is always a factor but TE premium isn't as much a factor in the rookie draft for me. If your league has a robust TE market then I could see bumping them a few spots in some TE premium situations like .5PPR(RB/WR) and 1PPR for TE
DLF HOF League 16 team PPR
QB: Brees, Bradford, Lock(3.07)
RB: David Johnson, Penny, Sanders(1.07), Montgomery(1.06), Love(2.07) Bernard, MLynch, Morris, TJLogan, Joe Williams, Shaun Wilson
WR: Jeffery,Cooper, Josh Gordon, Dede Westbrook, Cam Meredith, Brice Butler, Chester Rogers, Lockett, Switzer, Malone, Cain (IR)
TE: Gronk, Swaim, Maxx Williams
