I gave up a 2018 3rd rounder, not a first. Not saying that I won the trade but other than Thomas, who I do really like, I didn't mind shipping the other two pieces and I really, really like all three players that I got in return. The 2018 3rd is insignificant to me, the other owner asked for it in return for swapping in Zay Jones for BMarsh, which I gladly accepted.

Made some offseason for team 1 in sig trades that may not all be seen as value wins right now but think they will help my team.

Gave: 1.9, Tyreek, 2018 1st, 2019 1st (both are my 1sts and I project them late)
Received: M Thomas, 2.6, 2018 2nd (orphan rebuilding team), Brees, D Allen (I own Gronk)

Give: TY, 2.6
Receive: Crowell, Parker, 2.3, 2018 1st (bottom 3 team)
Posted this in the trade advice and consensus was that I undersold. Running backs are hard to trade for in our league, and I think Parker posts top WR2 numbers. The first should net me a top RB next year, and DT will be stepping in for TY while Parker progresses (hopefully) on my bench.

Gave: Hunter Henry
Received: 2.2 (Njoku), 2018 2nd (from 1.1 team)
I think Henry's value takes a bit of a hit with the additional TE talent added this year, and I don't see him separating into the elite 3.

I think it depends on the makeup of your team. If Ebron is your 2nd or 3rd TE, then sure maybe you risk it for the "higher upside" of Engram. However if you're looking to compete and Ebron is your best TE I think it'd be quite risky to trade him away for an unproven guy that has several flaws in his game.
This pretty much sums up why I made the trade. Ebron was my TE2 and I was willing to roll the dice on a player that I *think* has the higher ceiling. I also own Ebron in 2 other leagues, so it was a good chance to diversify my rosters.

I basically agree...for me it's just a matter of asking yourself a simple question, "do I want to score points and win in the next few years" 'cause you can't realistically expect Engram will help you do much of that. Personally if I'm trying to win, I'll keep Ebron here even if he's only my backup TE behind Jimmy Graham (who lets be honest has potential injury concerns) because having a high upside and viable backup is a valuable luxury. If I'm building for the future and don't care about winning, sure I'll gamble on Engram long term.

Jeepers...that's a rough one. Hell of a price to pay for a TE upgrade.
I edited it now. It was a 2018 3rd. That makes quite a bit of a difference.
That makes a bit of a difference, still prefer the Thomas side by a bit but not much

I figure most people would and like I said in another post, I do really like Thomas but I don't know if Coleman is ever going to get enough consistent touches to be really fantasy relevant and I have Kelce ranked as the #1 TE, I like Landry very closely to Thomas, just needs to get in the end zone more often and love Zay Jones. The 3rd rounder that I gave up doesn't mean much to me and I just made another trade in the same league, which was offered to me out of the blue to net another 2018 first.

I gave: James White + 2018 2nd
I get: Pharoh Cooper + 2018 1st(looks to be high pick, but you never know)

I hadn't made any trades in this certain league all off-season, just had some talks that didn't amount to anything, anyway, now I've made two in one day. The first one that I had already posted and now this one, these are both for 12 team PPR

I give: James White/2018 2nd
I get: Pharoh Cooper/ 2018 1st

The team that I acquired the 2018 1st from, looks to be mid-pack at best, but you never know, I personally think his WR corp is going to really hurt him, we'll see.

QB- Brady
RB- Freeman, Miller, Ware, Gore, Perkins
WRs- Fitzgerald, Garçon, Ri.Matthews, M.Jones, Sanu, Godwin
TEs- D.Walker, Fiedorowicz

I hate trade calculators (especially for dynasty trades) and think they're beyond useless for all but the most novice of owners, but for once I agree with this particular one. Now knowing that the pick is a 3rd instead of a 1st, I think this trade is about as even as it gets. I'll take the Thomas side because I think he's the best player in the deal and because Landry is a pretty big "sell" for me personally, but it seems pretty dead even in terms of current value.

I disagree with the trade calculator here. I am not sure if someone is trading Thomas for Landry/Kelce. I don't think I would but I suppose it is close enough to argue which leaves Coleman,Rudolph,3rd for Zay Jones. Pretty sure I like the Thomas side quite a bit more...
