not saying that calculators are great, but damn. it seems the value calculator would have to agree.

I hate trade calculators (especially for dynasty trades) and think they're beyond useless for all but the most novice of owners, but for once I agree with this particular one. Now knowing that the pick is a 3rd instead of a 1st, I think this trade is about as even as it gets. I'll take the Thomas side because I think he's the best player in the deal and because Landry is a pretty big "sell" for me personally, but it seems pretty dead even in terms of current value.
I disagree with the trade calculator here. I am not sure if someone is trading Thomas for Landry/Kelce. I don't think I would but I suppose it is close enough to argue which leaves Coleman,Rudolph,3rd for Zay Jones. Pretty sure I like the Thomas side quite a bit more...
I did the poll and it was something like 80% to 20% against the trade but that was when it was Marshall instead of Jones, so I knew most people would be against it but I see it like this
Landry/Jones =Thomas, 3rd
Kelce = Coleman/Rudolph
I know Coleman is a weapon but I'm kinda getting the feeling unless Freeman is injured, he may never see his full potential in Atlanta so I'm not as high on him and to me, Rudolph is pretty average. I'm very high on Kelce, I would take him over Gronk at this stage. I may regret it if Thomas really handles the #1 WR job and backs up his great rookie season, but I felt like it was close enough to take.

Yeah I mean it is reasonable enough but in straight PPR I likely devalue TE's more than some. Also as a Thomas owner Landry/Jones is not a deal I would think very hard about before rejecting but maybe lower on Landry too

Got Julio Jones for Hyde/Crowder/Doctson and a 2018 Late 1st. After several near misses over the last five years, this should be my best chance to win the 'ship.

Another deal was offered to me in the same league, there's been a lot of moves in this league this week, 12 team PPR

I give: Tyrell Williams
I get: 2018 1st + Ryan Mathews

In the three deals that I've made this week in this league, this is what has went down

I give: M.Thomas, T.Coleman, T.Williams, K.Rudolph, J.White, 2018 2nd & 2018 3rd

I get: Kelce, Landry, ZJones, P.Cooper, 2018 1st, 2018 1st

Bit of an essay here sorry,
I've just finished a trading frenzy, i know I lost and won some but here's the results -
1st trade - Sent - Andrew Luck + 2019 2nd - for - Drew Brees 2018 1st / 2019 1st (both mid)
2nd trade - Sent - Laquon Treadwell / 2019 1st - for - Davante Adams
3rd Trade - Sent - Lamar Miller / Jordan Matthews 2018 1st / 2020 1st - for - Sammy Watkins / Mich Trubisky / 2019 2nd / 2020 3rd

TLDR - Basically this amounts to
Sent
Luck / Jmatt / Miller / Treadwell / First
Recieved
Sammy Watkins / Davante Adams / Trubisky / Brees / 3rd

I know I PAID for Sammy but i'm happy my team is a lot stronger.

Team before -
QB
Andrew Luck / Phillip Rivers / Tyrod Taylor
RB
DeMarco Murray / Lamar Miller / Matt Forte / Marshawn Lynch / Adrian Peterson / Joe Williams / Marlon Mack
WR
DeAndre Hopkins / Jordan Matthews / Golden Tate / Tyler Lockett / Laquon Treadwell / Cole Beasley / Braxton Miller / Cameron Meredith

I am surprised you could get a 1st for Tyrell right now. He is pretty unpopular in my leagues. I still like him, but would take an 18 1st wherever I have him pretty easily.

So 1st and 3rd trade are basically Luck/Miller/JMatt for Brees/Watkins/Trubisky? I am alright with that, but I am high on Sammy and don't own Luck anywhere. I might not value his long-term stability enough.

Last post finally got me the red dot! I wondered what the threshold was...

For blue team in Sig-
Gave: 1.03 and 2 2018 1sts (champ and runner up last year, but there is a lot of parity in this league)
Got - Derrick Henry, 1.06, 2018 2nd (should be high, obvious rebuild team)

2 18 1sts and a move down from 3 seems steep, but they are likely 8-12. I am fine with 2 later 18 firsts for Mike Williams, and I would give 1.03 (Mixon) for Henry + early 2nd next year. Plus, I just really like Henry, and wanted him in my most important league.

I was surprised too. The owner was very WR needy and offered it to me. The best offer I could get in another league that I owned Williams in, was pick 2.03 in this rookie draft. Not many believers in him right now.

Team 3,

Gave: Tyreek Hill, 18 3rd
Got: Mike Williams

This could blow up on me as we have x2 rushing in our league and Tyreek was involved in the rushing game last year too, but I was willing to take my chances on Williams instead. I view these two pretty similarly, but think Williams has a better chance at long term success.

I'd rather have the Williams side. I could end up being wrong but I don't think Hill can sustain that kind of TD rate from his rookie season.

That is super cheap for Julio in 10 team. I am not even that down on Hyde/Doctson. Nice move to help your chances over the next couple seasons.

Thanks, man. I was surprised I didn't have to add more to get him. Excited to roll him and Hilton out, who was another offseason acquisition.

Team 2 in sig.

Fairly minor 1 for 1 WR swap with my boy alphaxray.

Gave: Marvin Jones
Received: Tyler Lockett

I do like Marvin this year, but to me he is still sort of a JAG and I liked the idea of gaining upside from my WR6 slot.
