Offseason 2017 completed trades and discussion

My two trades this year, first was pre draft, second was last week:

1/ Give Ware + 3.07
Get 1.03 and JMat

(it was Ware for the first initially but I knew he wasn't high in Matthews)

2/ Give Bilal Powell + '18 1st (likely late, wasn't mine)
Get Baldwin

I am kind of lost on the first one. I am not as low on either Ware kr JMatt as most are, but how did you pull of that return for him (ware).

RB valued overly high by our league I guess, and the guy had no RB's. He also had a number of picks, so was happy to shop them. the Non-PPR scoring helped, but basically timed it right and sold at his high point in value - got lucky I hope

Get: 1.10, 1.12 and Greg Olsen

Used 1.10 to draft David Njoku (had no 2nd TE).

Today:

Give: Tyreek Hill and David Njoku
Get: Keenan Allen and Jack Doyle

So in essence:

Give 1.07, 1.09, and Tyreek Hill
Get: 1.12, Keenan Allen, and Greg Olsen.

Get: 1.10, 1.12 and Greg Olsen

Used 1.10 to draft David Njoku (had no 2nd TE).

Today:

Give: Tyreek Hill and David Njoku
Get: Keenan Allen and Jack Doyle

So in essence:

Give 1.07, 1.09, and Tyreek Hill
Get: 1.12, Keenan Allen, and Greg Olsen.

This year I would happily do it for 11/12 but mostly because I think Landry at 90-100/1100+ is his ceiling.

But isn't this the exact kind of stat line you're looking for from a the players you will be drafting next year? Hard to imagine getting better than that in the back half of the first round.

Sure I guess but there are way more options with 11/12 than selecting rookies at those spots.

Yeah like I said, the trade scares me. I paid for a guy that plays on my favorite team despite the red flags. I just figured I post all of my trades up here, only fair for me to post 'em all even though I know this one isn't going to be loved by all.

Same, pretty fair move, but one that's good for your team. Cooper/Landry was for sure the safer side, but this gives you two cracks at elite studs to center your team around. I love Landry, but he's a high floor/low ceiling guy easily.
