Reed and Glennon for Mariota, Marvin Jones, 2018 2nd and 3rd

Chris Thompson and Matt Forte for Devin Funchess
First one is pretty even. 2nd one I prefer Forte.

captain howdy wrote: Fri May 26, 2017 7:06 am Another big trade for my rebuilding team

Moved AJG, CJ Anderson, and Jamaal Charles for Jordan Matthews, Will Fuller, Sterling Shepherd, and a 2018 3rd.

Clearly, I lose now, but ajg is entering his age 29 season, and I don't look to be competitive until his age 31 season, at the earliest.
Obviously, incumbent on my accepting this deal, I actually like the 3 players I received back...its kind of like a "he had the right pieces" type of trade...and enough of them he could lose all of them and condense his wrs. He is a contender, unlike myself.

I feel a bit down, AJG (And reed before him) were on trade bait for extended time with very limited interest/lowballs. My league is quite youth centric which I had parlayed for many years acquiring cheap vets to contend..but the chicken came home to roost leaving me old and not all that talented. I now feel set up for a strong 2019...assuming I can nab several RBs with my other assets.

The years of getting 3 firsts for AJG are done and gone. It was a fun ride though
You sold Green way way low. All 3 players you picked up have lost value this off season. You should have at least gotten a future 1st or just held til season. You could put Anderson and Charles on other side and s maybe then enough for green.

This one will probably be unpopular...

Standard scoring

Gave: Hopkins, Ware

Got: Gurley, E. Sanders

I had a pretty strong receiving group with Evans, Dez, Alshon, Crabtree outside of Hopkins, but have always struggled to buy RBs in this league. Coming off back to back championships and hoping Gurley can bounce back to help me to a 3 peat.

Hoped for better but..

Gave Moncrief
Got 2018 2nd

Team 1. Lost faith in Moncrief, been trying to move him for the past month without any luck, he was on my bubble to drop as I have 4 picks in the first 18. It's IDP, so if early 2nd, should work out

I guess it would seem terrible if one does not like the players i got in return. Less terrible if one did like the return players

I particularly like shep and fuller in my leagues format. Each worth a first. And frankly i think matthews is on a different team when im hoping to compete in 2018..so, hes hard to peg. I do like the talent tho

Thanks for the thoughts

Looks even to me. I prefer Hopkins over Gurley but I can see both sides being fine
