Developmental League
Thoughts on the NFLDL they are launching in April? For those that have not seen it yet, it is not a minor league where teams can send prospects down to, but for veterans and free agent types to play in. Kind of cool I suppose.

Love it! I've been a proponent of a minor league system for the NFL for awhile now and this is a good start. I think it will be fun to watch how the process works and follow along during one of the dead months of football outside of the draft.

Yes, definitely a good start. I really hope this is the first step in the NFL's answer for fixing how football players are brought along.
How long do you suppose it will take before a division 1 athlete gets into trouble and requests to jump from college to the developmental league?

I think it's great for prospective NFL players, but the impact these guys will have for our dynasty teams is probably minimal.
