'18 might already be pretty good even if all the possible guys declare this year.
I probably like Barkley more than Fournette...don't know that I would be willing to wait the extra year though

I have a definite top 4, but I haven't finished deciding on the specific order of them within the tier

Fournette, Cook, Williams, Davis

I thought I might end up with 1,2,5 this year. I ended up with 1,4,6, so I should still be able to gather some talent there...who do we see in the 6-10 range?

Fournette has kinda been the consensus as he is considered that once in a decade type talent, but I think results in college, etc... has bunched the field back up a bit... If I held 1.1 I would be leaning Fournette still, but circumstances could sway me away by the time I actually make the pick.

Is no one worried about Fournettes's injuries? I own the 1.1 in a 14 team league and I wanted Fournette all year but the continuous string of injuries worries me. I know other top backs out of college had injuries but it was one major or two major ones, not constant run of small nagging injuries.

Unless there's a medical red flag, then no. Too much talent.

So it seems like Fournette/Cook are the top two - I am probably going to have 1.05 (maybe 1.06); is it worth paying a high price to move up to grab one of these two for a team in desperate need of an RB? (in the "area" that some deals for Zeke were going for) Or will the guys at 1.05 be a good enough "consolation prize"?

What are the realistic floors/ceilings of these two guys?

Honestly, there is a ton of RB talent in this draft. If you're really hard up for RB, you're still going to have a lot of talent sitting there at 5.

I think it's absolutely worth it. But if you can't swing a deal and you're dead set on drafting an RB, you should be more than ecstatic with D'Onta Foreman as a consolation prize. He has some Eddie Lacy and Derrick Henry to him. Speed, power and size. He'll be there at 1.04 or 1.05.

If you want best player available keep your eyes on Corey Davis, Isaiah Ford.

I made a trade before the season to pick up an extra first rounder for 17... I figured it would be a mid-first, and was really just dumping off some parts that were nice, but not essential to my team...

Fast forward to the end of our season, and now even though I'm in the playoffs, I also hold the 1.01...

This should be a bit of a luxury pick for me... And if I had to select right now, it'd be Fournette in a walk... Like Cook... Love Leonard...
10 team Non-PPR (1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1K, 1Def), full keeper, 23 man roster, established 2013

QB: Tannehill, Tua
RB: CEH, Swift, Sanders, Bell, Fournette, Etienne
WR: Jones, Hopkins, Chase, D Smith, Bateman, Parker, Fuller, Harry, D Johnson, D Samuel, P Williams, Higgins, Chark
K: Butker
Def: Baltimore, Carolina

Championships: 2015, 2017

2014: 1.01 (Became Watkins)
2015: 1.03, 1.04, 3.04 (Became Gurley, Yeldon, CAP, Robinson UDFA)
2016: 1.10 (Became Fuller)
2017: 1.01, 3.07 (Became Fournette, Henderson)
2018: 2.10 (Became Chark)
2019: 1.04 (Became Harry, Samuel, Williams, Isabella, Johnson)
2020: 1.01, 1.05, 2.01, 3.01 (Became CEH, Swift, Tua, Higgins)
2021: 1.03, 1.08, 2.03, 3.03 (Became Chase, D Smith, Etienne, Bateman)

I think the value of the 1.01 or 1.02 picks are actually going to drop in price compared to the last 2 years because of the depth of this draft. Last year Everybody wanted EZE at 1.01 which drop the price sky high. This year you can get a really nice piece at 1.01 through 1.04 or even 1.05 so I don't think it's worth the price to move up personally.

If I owned 1.01 and the guy at 1.02 or 1.03 offered me their pick plus something nice I'd probably make the trade just because the depth at the top.

I have the 1.01, 1.02, 1.06 and depending on the playoffs, two picks between 1.07 and 1.12. I field a run and shoot (RB, WR, WR, WR, WR, TE). We can start 2 RB's though. I'm just not sure if I want Cook/Fournette or Cook/Williams for my squad which is PPR with a TE premium.

I feel the exact way. I own the 1.1, 1.4, 1.6, but I'm still unsure.
