I understand the logic in speculating how good that 2019 pick might be, but man... it's a 2019 pick. That, combined with the fact that YOU had to add a 3rd on top... I feel like you basically sold Murray for a 2018 3rd rounder :/

I'm having trouble understanding your logic. How does my trade seem as if I sold Murray for a future 3rd rounder?

Assume that it's 2015 and you own Matt Forte. Your team is 3-0 and you have depth at the RB position and will likely compete for a championship the following season in 2016.

You trade Forte and your 2017 3rd Round pick for a 2017 1st Round pick.

A year and a half later Matt Forte is 31 and you're picking in the top 5 for the 2017 Draft.

Would you still feel as if you sold Forte for a 2017 3rd Rounder?

P.S. My league doesn't do a Snake Draft. So my 3rd Rounder in 2019 will likely be around #25-30 overall.

The way I looked at it was:

2019 1st equals a 2018 2nd.

You gave up Murray and a 3rd to get a 2018 2nd.

That was my logic.

Just sold Murray for Alshon in a non ppr league

If you eliminate his one long run of 75 yards he's been averaging a paltry 3.2 ypc . He r is averaging over 5 ypc.

Well I finally traded DeMarco on Wednesday. I still love the guy, he was one of my original picks in the inaugrual draft back in 2014, before his epic final season in Dallas. I feel, that I have enough depth at RB moving forward to win this year (currently 3-0). Here are the details of the trade:

The team I dealt him to is 2-1 and without a 1st round pick for 2018. But, his team is getting old, FAST. His bench is atrocious and lacks youth.
