Starting in 2017 Doctson will be considered the best WR from this class.
Fantastic deal you made.
If you could afford to wait two years - Goff or Wentz?

I hope you're right - I can afford to sit on him and don't need him this year.DJB wrote:Starting in 2017 Doctson will be considered the best WR from this class.

Lynch is still there at 1.12, currently trying to trade down. If not - just gonna take him.

1.09: CJ Prosise, RB, SeahawksDJB wrote:What's the rest of the draft gone?
1.10: Derrick Henry, RB, Titans
1.11: Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals
1.12: Paxton Lynch, QB, Broncos
2.01: Will Fuller, WR, Texans
2.02: Kenyan Drake, RB, Dolphins
2.03: Kenneth Dixon, RB, Ravens
2.04: Devontae Booker, RB, Broncos
I ended up keeping the pick and selecting Lynch. Only interesting offer I got was Ladarius Green for it (got a bunch of other offers but none I considered). It is also a 2TE league which is why I only thought about Green briefly.

I love the Lynch pick. You made out like a bandit in my estimation with that trade back.

I essentially traded my right to choose either Goff or Wentz to get Doctson, Lynch & Keith Marshall.DJB wrote:I love the Lynch pick. You made out like a bandit in my estimation with that trade back.
I'm not crazy about Keith Marshall myself - but based on who else was there @ 2.12, I went with the player I felt had the most upside.
In regards to the rest of the draft, here are the picks since my last update - I'm surprised no more QBs have been selected.
2.05: Jordan Howard, RB, Bears
2.06: Leonte Carroo, WR, Dolphins
2.07: Hunter Henry, TE, Chargers
2.08: Paul Perkins, RB, Giants
2.09: Wendell Smallwood, RB, Eagles
2.10: DeAndre Washington, RB, Raiders
2.11: Josh Ferguson, RB, Colts
2.12: Keith Marshall, RB, Redskins
3.01: Malcolm Mitchell, WR, Patriots
3.02: Tyler Ervin, RB, Texans
3.03: Pharoh Cooper, WR, Rams
3.04: Braxton Miller, WR, Texans
3.05: Tyler Higbee, TE, Rams
3.06: Tajae Sharpe, WR, Titans
3.07: Jonathan Williams, RB, Bills
3.08: Austin Hooper, TE, Falcons
3.09: Daniel Lasco, RB, Saints

Kind of interesting to see Higbee go ahead of Hooper. I think both are similarly talented but in pretty much every draft I've seen Hooper go first, likely because of situation (team and legal).

I would have definitely taken Malcolm Mitchell over Keith Marshall. But you nailed your other picks!

I found it pretty interesting too - but this is the same owner who selected Michael Thomas @ 1.05 so he doesn't exactly follow the "consensus rankings".Dynasty DeLorean wrote:Kind of interesting to see Higbee go ahead of Hooper. Personally not a fan of Mitchell - I did consider Miller for a little bit because of the potential upside (I tend to go for low floor high upside picks with my 2nds & beyond). Nonetheless, thanks for the feedback!Bot101 wrote:I would have definitely taken Malcolm Mitchell over Keith Marshall. But you nailed your other picks!
I'm now anxiously awaiting to see how the draft goes to see what kind of UDFAs are left so I can put in bids for them.
Re: If you could afford to wait two years - Goff or Wentz?
I like everything about Doctson except his age, and that's only a mild drawback. Safest WR pick in this rookie draft I think.
Good luck with Lynch. He has some very bad tape; unable to throw with anticipation, often inaccurate, and doesn't make progressions. Personally, I'm guessing he's getting Kubiak fired a few seasons from now.
Matt Jones doesn't inspire a lot of confidence right now, but Marshall's upperclassman tape is a pale shadow of his underclassman tape. It's been a long time since he looked consistently good in pads. Based on Senior Bowl reports, Braxton Miller was the high upside flier to take at 2.12.
