I find it pretty mind blowing that two people would rather have Freeman than Bell. Someone's finger must've slipped.

i'm pretty interested in the bimodal distribution of what people would accept in return. the local minimum at 1.01+1.06 seems important to understand the psychology of interpreting Freeman's 2015 performance.

I would be willing to pay less to acquire him than I'd accept for him if I was rebuilding.

That's probably not rational unless you view him as a long-term asset. It also appears to be the majority view.

I'm trying to understand my rational, too.... I would be willing to walk away from a deal/hold him? It may look like I'm difficult to deal with, but I don't like to pay slippage. That is: I won't overpay to meet the ASK, and won't undersell to meet the BID.

In any individual negotiation, it probably doesn't make sense to pay your absolute max or sell at your absolute minimum. But I tried to get around that with the wording (and emphasis) of the question.

Luck one seems to be the results rather than the poll, or I could just be doing something wrong?

i'm almost certainly missing an obvious and important element of both your point; don't most people have a higher sell price than buy price in general?

If you're in the same situation as buyer and seller. However, I value RBs more if I'm contending than if I'm rebuilding.

i see, thank you. i was in fact missing something obvious and important.
(i too would value him more in a team that was 1 RB away for 2016)
