I know a lot of people hate extrapolating numbers but I personally think it can be a fun exercise to see "what if", provided you take it in context.

In any case Josh Gordons numbers extrapolated from 5 games to a full season would be:

58 Receptions
1072 Yards
3 TDs
184 Points (PPR)

That would have put him in the same ballpark as T.Y. Hilton, Dez Bryant & Alshon Jeffrey.

I'll take the over on receptions and TD's for next year, push on the yardage. Not bad for a player most had given up on and was free off the waiver wire.

I'd give a mid to late 1st given the historical success rate of those picks. Gordon has at least shown that he's capable of elite production. He looked good for the brief time he was on the field too. If not for horrible QB play, his stats would've been way better.

I'd happily give that up based on my experience of predicting NFL success from college players and stats I've read about draft picks, but I only play auction leagues. So I have to give up real talent or cap space to get Gordon. I believe in him this time, but not sure what I'd give for him... I would not give Hopkins, Evans, Adam's or Smith Schuster for him. Crabtree is a maybe, and any of my other WRs I would (Parker, Enunwa, Dotson) but not sure that gets it done...

I have the 1.01/1.10/1.12 in the league I wanna get him in. I wouldn't give up the 1.01 (obviously) but I would for sure give up the 1.10, of course I'd probably have to throw in another pick though too.

Better to start with just the 1.10 and see what happens.

1:10 seems stout to me , here is the reason(s) if his owner has held this long he is a fan boy thus the 1:10 likely won't get it done unless the person holding gordo has a guy he really wants at that spot . If it is an owner that picked him up for free off waivers I think that is an over pay based on his terrible history of getting suspended . His qb situation likely will be poor - kizer or a raw rookie for a year or two and then he can leave that situation as a free agent and who knows where he goes as a F/A . So it is league specific likely, I would love to have him as my wr 4 on a solid team whereby you are not depending on the undependable but can benefit from the huge upside.

Neither - leaving that up to the perspective the person who reads it. Each of them have reasons why they had a down year, and each of them could see a resurgence in 2018, plateau or continue the downward spiral, depending on what plays out. I think it is pretty apt that they all scored near what an extrapolated Gordon may have scored, and shows again the difference between upside and what actually happen.

I personally dont have any dislike of any of the WRs mentioned, other than perhaps Bryant for playing on the Cowboys.

I'm not laughing, but as a guy who held him the whole time I'd move him for a mid first if I wanted to sell him. I couldn't justify asking for the 1.01.

He's a self-admitted addict, and an event away from never playing again.

I'm thinking of offering 1.12 in a league where I could use some elite WR production around rookie draft time. I'm not sure that'll get it done, but we will see.

I should have seen this earlier. No way is he worth the 1.01. That's just ridiculous.

I'm not paying any 1st for Gordon with his track record. I wish him all the best, but I won't be paying what owners want for him.

This is exactly how I feel. I think too many owners are forgetting Gordon is in the substance abuse problem not just for weed, but also alcohol. He is literally one drink away from possibly never playing again. I hope he succeeds, but the risk is too high for me to be a buyer.
