Chris Ivory

Has he not proven he is elite talent? I think he's top 10 RB moving forward... he looks fantastic.

Elite? No.

Solid? Hell yes.

injury prone? Unfortunately, Yes.

In an NFL of RB mess, I love him right now though!

Hes so gnarly catching passes, the rare games it happens. Handful in space, of course.

But hes still a crap pass-protector, so as soon as Powell recovers from the groin issue no doubt its right back to him on passing downs. sigh

Beast Mode East!

Love how he plays.....which leads to the injuries. No, he's not an elite talent. But he's perfect for what the Jets want to do.

It's only week 6 but.... I keep wondering what the Jets backfield looks like next year?

He was my "biggest hunch of 2015".

He IS injury prone..... so watch out.

But Chan Gailey is a master at creating a solid offense. Marshall having a good year. Fitzy too.

Spiller's career to this point would look a lot different if Gailey hadn't been fired.

Chris Ivory is probably in the top 5 for most underated NFL players, he def gets the job done.

I have to admit that I've never really been much of an Ivory fan and have always felt he was largely overrated, but he's kind of proving me wrong so far this year. I still wouldn't call him elite, because for that moniker in my rankings you need to be more of a complete back than I think Ivory has proven to be thus far in his career. If you play in "standard" leagues (non-ppr) I like him substantially more than in ppr scoring.

I honestly don't understand the Jets' infatuation with Bilal Powell. He must be an elite pass protector because his YPC is 3.4 vs. 5.5 for Ivory, and his yards per target is a brutal 4.7, compared to Ivory's 11.5. I know its a small sample size but still...

I recall reading somewhere that Ivory was rated like 61st out of 62 qualifiers in RB pass-protection last year.

That's why the Jets 'like' Bilal Powell.

I think that Ridley will have a role in this offense when he comes of the PUP. He's pretty talented in his own right, and he should have fresh legs.

I guess we will see

Ridley's contract actually incentivizes the Jets to not even activate him for the game-day roster.

I would be content with that
2015 League Champion
12 Team Standard League
QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLEX/DEF/K
