#3 is an interesting one for me. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if either WR developed into a top 25 WR asset...but also wouldn't be surprised if either ended up being worthless WW fodder 1-2 years from now. I like both as stashes.

DLF HOF Week IX Results

Seventy5 133.45 thebeast 108.35

Plenty a Barkley based playoff headed team struggled this week. That was no problem for S5 as a squad without Barkley, AJ Green, Hilton, Luck & Mixon. That is correct S5 rested their A squad, played basically their B Squad, and still (a) had the 3rd highest score this week and (b) handled another playoff challenger.

maxhyde 110.00 knotts4372 97.40

Your team would normally lose if you got a total of 6.70 points from your 2 RBs & TE correct? Well not if you started Maurice Harris and paired him with Drew Brees and everyones favorite whipping boy, Josh Gordon, you won't!

sloth8u 82.25 TitusYoungsLaweyer 71.45

I have a feeling, along with Maurice Harris, that Jeff Heuerman is going to make an appearance on DLFs The Dynasty Aftermath article. I will take some credit for Heuermans success because I cut him to add an RB in a league. Anyways his TE1 week helped sloth8u be the last DLF HOF team to earn a win and cause some of TYLs fanbase to sue their team for malpractice.

auggiedoggies 155.75 Plank 121.20

You know what happens when you tell a dog to walk the plank? They say sure - because they know how to auggiedoggie paddle! My only other thought is that if Evans had not been shutdown this game how exciting & close the result might have been.

DLF_JaronF 170.95 Jules 88.05

DLF_JaronF came very close to being able to say his team was 2x as good as Jules in a battle of DLF Writers. Regardless this was a crucial win for his squad as it likely ensures he'll clinch the quite soft Blue division - the other 3 teams are tied with his for # of wins in 6 - and is the only division to not have 2 teams with winning records.

nation31 83.45 JFever 63.85

Most fevers & manias run their course - and it is looking like that several owners have found a successful cure on how to handle JFevermania.

steeveb 96.45 ericanadian 56.95

It is quite rare that your teams QB will face off against his backup in a fantasy matchup - but considering that an argument could be made that Tyrod Taylor could be the best QB on ericanadians dismal roster ... however if Vannetts production continues ericanadian may wish to consider arguing for DLF HOF to become a 2TE league as that is quietly becoming a decent position of strength for him.

Dookmariot 99.50 ArrylT 49.15

Dooks team must have taken offense at either the fact that their owner does not believe in them and went out to prove him wrong or they are big fans of Jeff Fisher - first they doubled up ArrylT and 2ndly they made sure to outscore at least half the other DLF owners. And this only happened after Dookmariots team was suggested to be similar to Jeff Fisher - a comment that no one from that organization has yet to deny ... ;)

Healthy, I like the two guys about even. I figured I needed an IR’d TE to complete my set of IR’d starters. Just need a QB now.

It has been a relatively healthy year for the (starting) QBs so far if I recall correctly ... I think Garoppolo is the only one on IR so far?

Bradford is somewhat IR’d and technically he started the year.

That is true - although I am not sure if a player can remain on IR if they're released? Obviously not the NFL IR but I mean a fantasy teams IR ...

Trying to squeeze any advantage he can in his matchup against myself - Jules picks up Batmans child - Batson. I may have to retaliate by signing the Joker, the Penguin or Mr. Freeze.

The Race to the Playoffs: Divisional Titles

Championship Playoffs
A total of 6 teams will make the playoffs each season.
4 Division Winners
2 Wild Card teams
Wild Card teams will consist of the top remaining team from each Conference, regardless of Division.

Blue:

Unless JFever gets 4 VP every week in the last 3 weeks, and DLF_JaronF gets O VP every week, DLF_JaronF has clinched the division. DLF_JaronF can also clinch by the simple expedient of having a scoring adjustment give him the win over steeveb this week.

Black:

Any of nation31, Dookmariot & steeveb can still clinch. steevebs chances would be hurt measurably by a scoring adjustment this week.

White:

Plank has a 9 point lead on thebeast, so a 3-4 VP performance from Plank in Week XI will clinch for him. Basically thebeast needs to score 4 VP each week and hope Plank gets 1 at most.

Green:

Seventy5 is pretty much in the same positon as JFever & Plank - basically only a couple of VP away.

The Race to the Playoffs: Wild Cards

Top 2 non Divisional Leaders earn WCs

Seventy5 - 38 - Divisional leader
Plank - 34 - Divisional leader
nation31 - 29 - Divisional leader
auggiedoggies - 27
Dookmariot - 26
steeveb - 25
thebeast - 25
DLF_JaronF - 24 - Divisional leader
maxhyde - 20
TitusYoungsLawyer - 17
Jules - 16
knotts4372 - 16

Eliminated from WC Contention:

JFever - 12
ArrylT - 5
sloth8u - 4
ericanadian - 2

The reason JFever is eliminated from WC Contention but not Divisional contention is because he is more than 12 VP behind the top 2 WC contenders. 3 games x 4 max VP = 12 VP. Expect him to be eliminated from both next week at the latest.

Jules, TYL & knotts4372 are also likely to be eliminated next week barring wins & top 5 scores.

It is basically going to be a 4 horse race between auggiedoggies, Dookmariot, steeveb & thebeast. Those 3 owners may be hoping that there is a stat correction in the steeveb / DLF_JaronF matchup as that would bump steeveb down to 23 and a 4 VP differential with 3 games to go is a tough challenge.

the one 'wildcard' to the WC is maxhyde. His matchups are against Plank, thebeast & sloth8u and should he win all 3 he will have great impact on both the WC & divisional fronts. At the moment one can put odds on him only winning the last matchup - but unless he wins at least 1 of the next 2 that matchup is likely to be anti-climatical, especially since sloth8u plays Plank & thebeast as well.

Thanks for putting this together, but I think the race for the wildcard spots is more interesting. There are pretty much 4 teams all clustered together vying for 2 spots.

auggiedoggies - 27 VP
Dookmariot - 26 VP
steeveb - 25 VP
thebeast - 25 VP

Maxhyde - 20 VP (still has a decent chance to take a playoff spot)
