Carlos Hyde traded to Jaguars

Duke's production jump (109 yards on 6 touches) last week when finally given even a little bit of opportunity, had to play into the Brown's comfort in trading away Hyde. "Yup, he's still the same ole' productive Duke...when we give him touches."

I'm bullish on this move for the Duke'ster's production moving forward. I think he's back to his typical 14-18 weekly PPR point range every 3 outta 4 weeks.

What I still don't understand is how there has been all this talk this season about how banged up the Browns receivers are and Duke barely plays. Last season he was a monster, with pretty much the same coaching staff. I am really hoping Duke starts to show better down the stretch.

Duke is good, but he's so game script dependent under Hue. Cleveland played from behind a lot last year, but they've had closer games this season.

This move would make so much more sense if the Jags are already in talks to move him.

Maybe if Fournette does come back soon but they lacked RB depth and Hyde is a good complement to Yeldon so I think this is what it looks like on the surface.

Oh. Sorry I’m not familiar enough with all of the intricacies of the NFL’s super complicated free agent system lol. I thought a UFA was just a FA like any other sport. I’ll read up on comp picks.

It's super complicated and no one really knows how it works lol. there's some weird algorithm that is secret based on production, post season accolades(all pro, pro bowl, etc) and new contract value that gets weighed against the guys you signed with the sameish things and its just a mess

This will at least provide an opportunity to see what Chubb can do in a feature role - but expectations should be tampered.. But they won't be.

I know consensus said he was cheap before, but that is really just a knee jerk reaction. Like this.
His value to me goes up slightly - talent was/is undeniable.
