I agree. Plus practical considerations aside I would rather roster players who are decent human beings even if my team suffers for it. If I were to win my league thanks to points from a rapist or wife beater I would feel a little guilty.
Thomas Rawls tried to literally fist fight with my sister outside of a pizza shop in Ann Arbor one night. He was a freshman trying to show off in front of the upper classmen unknowing that she was there with the upper classmen and just looked like a complete buffoon for trying to fist fight a girl.

Thomas Rawls is many things, but a decent human being he is not.

Rumor has it that he also use to go to frat parties and take whatever he wanted from guys that lived there and those guys would never report it because having the status of football players coming to their parties was worth losing some Xbox games and stuff.

I don't know what happened here, but one of Agholor's character and work ethic were some of the best things about him coming out of college. I'd let all this play out before throwing him into the Ray Rice category.

Haha that is good to know. I am sure I roster players with poor character and I agree that it's all about the points. But there are some players I would just never roster, like Greg Hardy.

And DGB is no saint either. I don't get the idea of feeling guilty because one of your fantasy players doesnt have the same morals as you. Its not like owning means you condone his actions, it just means he scores fantasy points.

And Russell Wilson cheated on his wife. Bell and Bryant caught with pot, Bryant obvious has the real issue. Perriman was in an episode of Bum Fights. You're practically the Johnnie Cochran of Fantasy Football GM's

Completely agree with that. I moved Ray Rice the second I watched his video. It's hard to roster people when I want them to die.

By "moved" I assume you meant traded? Did it make you feel less moral getting anything of value from owning him? Or did you really mean that you dropped him?

I'm holding on Agholor right now. No point in trying to trade him when his value is about as low as it can get. Of course, AS an owner, I'm hoping for best case scenario, that this is just a "money grab" situation involving a seasoned dancer and a naive young athlete. At least that's what the reports are saying for now. There were no charges filed, there's no video, and witnesses seem to corroborate Agholor's story that he didn't do anything wrong. It's easy to forget that these guys are in their early 20s, and I don't know about you, but I made plenty of bad decisions when I was in my 20s (let's be clear, I'm NOT talking about sexual assault, that is unforgivable, I'm talking about a few guys with gobs of disposable income deciding to go to a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, and one of them choosing to go into a room alone for what was likely more than just a "dance"). When you're in the public eye as a celebrity/athlete, you have to be a little more careful about putting yourself in sketchy situations. Again, I'm not making excuses or apologies - if he is in fact guilty of sexual assault, then f*** him and he deserves to be punished harshly for it. If he didn't do anything and he gets exonerated, hopefully he will use this as a learning experience and get his s**t together. Time will tell.

I don't know about DrNoish, but I dropped him. No compensation but the satisfaction of saying "so long" and then I added a player off the wire. He was immediately picked up and rotted on another owner's team for the rest of the year, clogging a roster spot.

I don't know much about this particular case. I've read a couple of articles that were posted on this thread and as an Agholor owner I'm undecided on what to do. We're delaying our rookie draft until the end of July as one of our members is in boot camp so I have the luxury of waiting for continued developments.

In unsure if you're really adamant about the frequency of false allegations or more likely you were being glib about a serious topic. Either way I think it would be best for all of us Agholor owners to keep an open mind and adopt a wait and see approach.

I will attempt to reply to this because I'm one of many people who have issues owning players who've done horrible things. I play fantasy football because I find it extremely entertaining. I enjoy thinking about the game of football from a Fantasy perspective. I fell in love with dynasty because it allows me to be GM in my own small way, the same reason I loved Madden Franchise mode in my younger days.

I would be unable to enjoy my own team if I had to look at Vick or Roetlisberger on my roster. You can believe that profitting off of criminally terrible people doesn't mean you condone their actions and maybe you're right. You're taking a logical and detached approach towards the relation of a fantasy player to the human being away from the game.

I'm not personally able to separate emotionally from my team and it would detract from my experience to benefit from certain people.

Maybe it makes me a sucker, but I'm with you Eight7Seven. I don't act on accusation or rumor, but once somethings been proven I'm not very happy to sit on a player I think is a lowlife. It just makes it too hard for me to root for the individual on the field, and that takes away from my enjoyment of the game. I'd rather lose with players I like than win with players I don't. That's just me.

Also FantasySeer, I can't tell by the tone if you're being sarcastic or not, but the NFL thinks enough of these graft/blackmail type scenarios and the people that create them that they school the rookies in the symposium about avoiding them. The facts haven't come out in this case so we can't determine the merit of the assault claim, but I don't believe false accusations against athletes are that uncommon. Agree to disagree maybe.

These are the reason I think we need stricter gun laws. For all the Republicans out there, that doesn't mean taking everyone's guns away. Still a sad day. Guy in my league went to school with him I believe. He drafted him pretty early as a rookie.
