Just got back from a late showing and we really enjoyed ourselves. My favorite thing about "Draft Day" were the many aspects of it that lent credence to making it actually seem like an NFL Team (unlike the teams in "Any Given Sunday", or the Replacements"). My only critique of the movie would be that I didn't really buy into the process that went on while the different GM's were considering making moves. I spend so much time (over) analyzing every aspect of the players on my board, especially the players who slot into the area where I'm drafting. I'm just a guy playing Dynasty football, not an NFL General Manager is paid millions of dollars to run their teams.

enjoyed it.
Entirely predictable, but certainly enjoyable for fans of the game, especially FF peeps.

Good, not great.

I enjoyed it a lot but a lot of that can be attributed to being such a football/draft nerd. I don't think somebody not into the NFL would consider it to be that great of a movie.

I totally agree with Eight7Seven about the process these guys ran through on making trades. We know for a fact that there are draft pick value charts out there, ie the Jimmy Johnson chart, that teams use to quantify the value of picks when making trades. And for most of us, we put a lot of thought and even number crunching into making trades for just our dynasty teams. It's hard to believe that the GMs make trades like that on the fly while hardly consulting their staff and never referencing any kind of charts.
